This review is a bit late, but I wanted to share my experience from Easter Sunday about a week ago. The shop wasn’t very busy, and I was meeting some friends for a coffee date. One of my friends ordered an iced matcha latte, and the barista who made her drink was named Niasa. Unfortunately, the drink came out bland.
When my friend approached the counter to ask Niasa why the drink tasted so different from usual, she received a significant amount of attitude in response. Niasa claimed that the blandness was due to a change in Starbucks' matcha products. She refused to acknowledge that she had made the drink poorly. Afterward, we requested that she remake the drink, but she seemed angry and continued to give us attitude.
I’ve always enjoyed going to this Starbucks and have had great experiences with other baristas who genuinely care about their work and customers. However, this particular barista seemed indifferent and merely went through the motions. While Niasa cited the change in the matcha product as a reason for the taste, it felt unreasonable. I spoke with other baristas who confirmed that the company change happened months ago, and we visit this location almost every day. My friend always orders the same drink, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
I don’t understand why management hasn’t addressed this and provided additional training for employees to ensure better customer service. We pay a premium for these drinks, and we expect them to taste good—not to waste $7 on something that tastes like water. I hope management can see this feedback and encourage their staff to improve their attitude and service toward customers so that we can enjoy a more pleasant experience...
Read moreI have watched this young lady run around with her head cut off every morning. She is super friendly And seems to be a hard worker. This morning there was a lady ahead of us and I couldn't quite make out what was happening but it turns out the woman was belittling the girl. The girl that works there's name is Stephanie, She handled herself with grace. I probably would have said something if I would have known more of the context, unlike Stephanie, I am not so graceful. It doesn't take a lot of effort to be kind though, especially if you go into the is the the the Clute store and see how busy theyy are... Thank you Stephanie for making my mornings a...
Read moreI am traveling to the area to visit my sister, and was told I must stop by the Kroger as it’s bigger and better than most. I was surprised to find a Starbucks inside of Kroger. I walked up and placed my order for two drinks. I was waiting by the pick up area, and therefore able to see them making my drinks. They messed up on one of the cups and went to rinse it out, and I was OK with that. The employee then proceeded to wipe the inside of the cup dry with her apron, and remake the right drink. I called her out and she was able to fix my order, but that is unacceptable and the employee need proper training. Especially in these...
