A couple walks in gets there food. a second later they demand a refund. Bashing the food. I was a food critic. Today i had chicken soup ill give 3 stars out of 4. the rice beans an the beef ribs in sauce was delish. 3.stars.spanish rice is not supposed to b soggy its supposed to have texture to the complainers cook rice home for soggy food. Authentic i give 4 stars. Chicken was moist juicy tender.goat ox tail is very good. Plantains are good. All food cooked in house. The soups is a must try 3 an 4 stars allways something new to try portions r plentyfull price is fair i wish they would add pastellis for authentic carribean i will say la perla del caribe. Good job guys now u need soda despensers. For refills on drinks my rateing on la perla is 3 stars out of 4 ill return for more soup * empanadas. R also great fish was great. For the second time, I have immensely enjoyed La Perla Del Caribe’s food!! Today, I ordered their Pernil with Rice and Beans!!! Excellent!! Also, both times I have experienced Great Service and enjoyed the Friendliness of their Serving Staff!! It used to be that one would have to travel to Reading, Allentown, Philly, etc. to have Authentic food of Puerto Rican or Dominican descent. Also, I have worked with many Hispanic families who were very kind, friendly and respectful!!! It is no different at La Perla Del Caribe!!! Lastly, we travelled to Puerto Rico two years and plan to visit again in the Spring!!!
