Marcys place — Restaurant in Coalgate

Yep. This is Coalgate; small town USA. YOU GOTTA LOVE IT! It doesn't get any better than this! And if you're in Coalgate, you have to go to Marcy's Place. All you can eat buffet (see what I mean, these people know what they're doing). Morgan said the meat loaf was good and she wasn't lying. Sweet tea! That sweet tea was as good as my mother's! Seriously, not joking! Fried pies! (peach, apple and cherry) A Southern Oklahoma specialty. Atmosphere - spot on! If you ever seen a movie with a quaint little cafe, this is it. The cook even had a bell they would ring when an order was up. Picture perfect! Staff - none better! One young waitress handled the whole place by herself; it's a small place but she was hopping! She never missed a beat and did it all with courtesy! Extremely nice people. I think you could have been an alien walking in there and they'd treated you like they've always known you. And everybody knew everybody's name, literally. Very clean unisex bathroom. This is quite the place. Yall need to come on over! Right across the street from the Public...

Really great food at a great price. The place was very clean and our waitress was super helpful and nice. We stopped while on our way through town during travel and the service was speedy enough that it did not cost us much time. Great family atmosphere and even better food.
