What a shame! Really loved this place. Food was tastey and very reasonably priced. The proprietor even let me substitute the rice or noodle part of the required 3 item plate food item for another portion of whatever I liked because I told her I was on a low carb diet and she just charged me like a dollar and change more. Really nice of her to do this for me. The total for 4 items substituting rice or noodles was only $10.78! Wow! Inexpensive and so yummy. She even let me sample food items first and she made a recommendation if I liked spicy for the Kung Pao chicken which I sampled and loved and added as my substitute for rice!

I orded only 3 items from New China Restaurant since this place closed. The Mongolian Beef, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and Fried Rice was $26! The food there was bland and not even as tastey as China 1.

I am really sad this place is closed! Great tasting food that was reasonable inexpensive. People complain about the temperature need to consider the food is already made so no wait time. If you want fresh hot not warm food then come at peak times like 12:00pm to 1:00pm for lunch and 5:00pm - 6:00pm for dinner where the food is hot and fresh otherwise at other times the food is just being keeped warm after the peak hours. Anyways that doesn't matter anymore as this Coalingas' ONLY Chinese fast food that is both fast and tastey...

We are just traveling through and did a Google Search to find something to eat near our RV park and decided to try China 1 Express. It was about a 10 mile drive but well worth it. We thought it was just a take out place but there are tables so you can eat inside. it was very inexpensive, a little over $12.00 for two meals...My husband had Beef & Broccoli and Kung Pow Chicken and Pepper Chicken for $6.95 and I had Teriyaki Chicken and Orange Chicken for $5.95 and you also get a choice of noodles or rice. It was so good that we each got orders to go to eat on the road for lunch the next day! The couple who runs the restaraunt were very friendly and accomedating. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for good...

I go in here often to get my father food and the lady is always very kind to me and knows my order by heart. They will go above and beyond to please you and will even make your food fresh. I love this place and it almost never disappoints. You can fill yourself up with a delicious meal for around 12 bucks. I love every bit of this place, and it always comes in clutch, give it a try.
