Found this spot after gem mining. I was hectic about it at first because it looks like a beat up place from the outside. When walking in, all you see is old tables and chairs, the cartons of the sodas, and big fans. When ordering is like you are ordering from those taco stands in the streets.
Don't be fooled about what I just wrote because what matters is how good the tacos were. I tried the carne asada, cabeza, lengua, and tripas, and to me they were sooo good. They had flavor and the tacos were full of meat. I normally eat 4 tacos. So I ordered 4 and was only able to eat 2 because how big they were.

Definitely local, yet welcoming place, authentic as it gets. They were bringing out fresh grilled lengua when I walked in. I opted for the grilled chicken. Got a regular burrito (with a LOT of meat), soda, and pan dulce for less than a McCrappy meal. Everything tasted good, not amazing but extra star for no montezuma revenge the next day.
Wheather you're in the area, or passing by on the freeway, take the time to support this locally...
