The staff is very attentive. The food is mostly satisfactory. The coleslaw could use some more flavor, and the brisket cowboy roll was not great. But both were ok. The jalapeño poppers were delicious with the sauce they came with. And I should have listened to the recommendation of the server, bc the house made pretzels were also divine. I had the brisket sandwich for my main with a side of slaw. The sandwich was delicious. Smokey and cooked perfectly. I normally put slaw on my bbq sandwiches. Their house slaw is not it though. It was ok, but it was weak. It’s like they are afraid to commit to a flavor profile for their slaw…. So… you get some weak watered down flavored coleslaw. It’s not bad… but… it definitely could be better. Other than that, I actually really enjoy this place and will be back when I have a day off. A piece of business advice: the liquor bar needs help. The alcohol spouts are not covered. They are basically wasting away on their shelves. I ordered two top shelf tequilas that tasted less than their prime shelf quality. Also, the servers are not accurate with pours, you are losing money each pour. But if you are serving top shelf liquor with mediocre flavors then I guess it evens out. However, people are more likely to order top shelf liquor when it actually tastes good. Poor storage techniques and exposure reduces the quality and value. I normally would drink at least a bottle of top shelf tequila, but after my second glass I decided to just stick with beer. Which brings me to your next issue…. Flavor profiles!!!! You have none listed… and your servers don’t know them either…. It just wasted your beer/YOUR MONEY bc the server didn’t know how to verbalize the flavor profile…. They just turned my attention to a FREE Tasting of the draft I was interested in. Which OVER TIME is just money going down the drain.. overall I cannot do anything outside of a google review bc I really am biased about this location. I think this place is good bough to be great… HOWEVER, you guys can be so much better. The owner needs to stop pretending to care, and ACTUALLY care. Meaning, don’t just pop in for appearances. Actually just come in as a customer and observe what the customer sees. Actually take a minute to care and see the discrepancies. It was easy for me to pinpoint a lot of problems and I wasn’t even trying. I literally stayed in the front of house and could make this place at least 5% more money each quarter. This place is good. But it has the potential to be great. Like multiple locations in multiple states good…ownership just needs to gain a new...
Read moreI love coming here! This is one of my favorite spots to get some BBQ. Overall I would say that they are ~90% fantastic. They serve quality food at fair prices and they are pretty fast.
My issues lie within the details. I order to-go when I order from them and my orders usually are mostly correct... but there are some mistakes that have to be addressed.
My first issue I've had is with their sauces. All delicious, for sure, but over half of the time when I ask for ranch, I get blue cheese. The cups look identical and most of the time there are no markings on them so they are hard to tell apart.
Rarely we have had side items forgotten. Over the course of probably around 100 orders we have been shorted a few sides of fries and 4-6 mac-and-cheese balls. (2 of which I drove back to pick up, but we're missed until I checked the order at home)
Portion size seems to be an issue with their brisket. When asked, the chef's say that the portion of meat in the Brisket Salad is 6-7oz. Half of the time, this is correct. (I weigh out my food for health reasons, which is why I order to-go) The other half of the time it has been a 4oz. serving, which is considerably less for the price.
My last issue with the food lies with the Brisket Dinner. I love their brisket, it is out-of-this-world amazing and I get it most of the time now, but the quality of the meat varies a decent amount. When it's fresh and done correctly, no one can beat it around here. ~1/4 of the time the meat it tough, hard to cut and eat and it seems like it was reheated on a metal plate a couple days after it was made. It is not worth the $17 when it's not fresh.
Long story short, when the food is made correctly, it can't be beat. When the quality and correctness of the orders are not properly checked, it's sub-par at best.
Almost all of the staff are wonderful people and I enjoy their customer service. All-in-all, Cheif's Brew House does a phenomenal job at what they do, and I encourage everyone to try them at least once! Keep in mind that the issues that I have had with them are spread out over a couple years and...
Read moreWe want to love this place! In the past we have had great times, I do believe this place has great potential! That being said you never know what your going to get when your there! I’ve waited months to do this review because I was hopeful they would pull it together because we really want it to be great! We are regulars but I’ll say at least the last 10 times we have gone in there’s always a problem from running out of a main dish like the tacos they promote, to sour cream or not having enough chips. There doesn’t seem to be a cohesive feel with the staff. They have one guy there Tyler I believe his name is, he’s always nice and he’s a pretty good bartender and he really tries to do the best with what he has to work with. What I can’t figure out is how this place that’s run by the same owners of chiefs why there is such a difference in the two? Perfect example they completely out of tacos on taco Tuesday, so my daughter called in a order to chiefs after I placed my order at the counter at Bronco ( she only did this because they were out of tacos) I would say it was 5 mins after I ordered that her was placed, she planned to come sit outside at Bronco and eat with us, she got her food ate her entire meal while we all waited another 20 mins for our food at Bronco. There’s no real customer service when stuff does go wrong! There’s so much potential, I rarely write reviews but I really feel they should take the feed back from the customers when this happens time and time again! Also it’s baffles me that the owners, marketing, or mangers have not reached out to any of these reviews. Fingers crossed my next review for Bronco will be a 5 star review. I would start reaching out to customers word of mouth is huge especially in a...
