I am beyond impressed. This place is a gem. I fear the small location will not suffice long. An expansion will be necessary soon. The environment and staff are lovely. The food was beyond delicious. I had the strawberry salad as my appetizer . The greens are fresh and the ingredients were well balanced. The avocado toast with a side of bacon was my main. I had them bring me a bottle of Cholula original because I am used to needing it to add flavor to food. HOWEVER, I didn’t need it at all. The avocado toast was flavorful and the perfect amount of ingredients. The texture of the toast was perfect as well. The bread was fresh and toasted just right. The bacon was of high quality and cooked properly. For dessert I had the strawberries and cream waffles and OH MYYYYY!!!!! They were the best! They are thinner and crispier than what you get at most “waffle restaurants”. Not fluffy and filling. But crisp and flavorful. Idk how to describe it. I have never had waffles like them before. I’m not even a waffle person… I just wanted a dessert like end to my meal… the strawberries were fresh and the homemade whipped cream was so fresh and well balanced! I am so absolutely impressed by the food and the service. I will say because it is so small I believe the service is easier to maintain than a larger location. BUT, I never felt overcrowded or uncomfortable. Also the drinks are good. I ordered a bottle of Prosecco that was already chilled to the perfect temperature and remained a great temp for the time it took me to finish the bottle. Overall I am very happy with my experience and the pricing. I will...
Read moreThis place is super cute, and the food is DELICIOUS! I consider myself a little bit of an eggs benedict snob and it was amazing. My husband ordered the potatoes dauphinoise as a side which hadn’t appealed to me, but I tried some and then inhaled half his order.. they were amazing.
Also as a side note, we got a half order of the apple strudel waffle to go for our one year old and he said “More” for the first time in his life because he wanted another bite. Definitely try this place out, you won’t regret it.
Also kudos for offering an option to make your mimosas non-alcoholic. It’s so nice to have a version for those who...
Read moreWe stopped in for breakfast on our way to the Country Fair. The ambience and service are amazing. We had a super sweet waitress, I can’t remember her name or id give her credit here. The food: I had the Benedict Du Jardin. The caramelized sweet potato had a very strong smokey taste that ruined the whole dish for me. Maybe over caramelized…? IDK, it was not good. My partner had the Benedict Classic. For the price, it was just average. The potato's though. That’s where it’s at! If you’re going to give them a try, ditch the fancy sounding Benedict’s, you’ll be disappointed anyway. Stick with the Potato’s Dauphinoise!...
