La Cabana Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Cochran

I have always loved this La Cabana, however now, I am not a particular fan of this La Cabana. Me and my family came in to dine and the waitress who was serving us had a very nasty attitude. She left us waiting for our drinks at long periods of time. She didn't want to serve us at all. I had 5 people in my family and she only wanted to bring one basket of chips out at a time. I had to keep getting out my seat to go to the front, because we were in the back, to beg this broad to do her job. She was so annoyed, even by that. By the third basket (being split 5 ways) I asked her could she bring another basket, we were waiting on our meals, and her response was, "Any basket past the 3rd basket will be charged 1.75 per basket." Right when she said this, another waiter asked if we wanted another basket of chips. She lied, and just simply was too lazy and didn't want to do her job. She rolled her eyes as the other gracious waiter, who wasn't even our waiter brought chips. So humiliating and pathetic to see her like that, a simple basket of chips, and this is what you get paid to do, serve people. We had to get what we needed from the other waiter because this nasty lady, just was too lazy to LITERALLY do her job. I mean it's YOUR JOB honey. She is the daughter of the lady who owns the other LA Cabana, and it was the reason we stopped going there because she was nasty there too. Decided to put a review on Google and speak to management, because NO ONE should have to deal with that. It's really sad to see someone who looks so pretty, have behavior that is utter garbage. Proof, that looks mean absolutely nothing. If I come in there again and she does us like that again. (Especially when I had a party of elderly people) I promise I will make a scene to management. So just left there 6/30/2024 and I will NEVER be back there again due to the service and food I ordered the lunch special number 3 with grilled chicken no veggies at all and my child order spaghetti off the kids menu he is autistic and we never were asked for a refill a lady came to the table because we wanted to talk about our food she took my food and said well you should be more specific on what you wanted we said ma'am we were we said no vegetables with grilled chicken the guy ordered place the order with shredded chicken that's not my fault then my son didn't eat his spaghetti at all I mean at all I said can we swap this out for a cheeseburger and fries she said yeah I can take the spaghetti back but you're still going to have to pay for the spaghetti and a hamburger and fries I have never known of not being able to swap food I have never knew that and because the waiter messed up our order it's our fault I would never ever recommend that place just because they're busy on a Sunday with church people don't take it out on people that aren't dressed like church people and I feel some kind of way because there was no complimentary of nothing $40 later and we barely ate our food that's ridiculous so I never would go back to that establishment...

First time visit on a weekday evening. The parking lot looked more full than the inside of the restaurant looked. Chips and salsa came out first. The chips were warm at 106° and the salsa a cool 55°. You can order off the lunch menu for $1 more than the lunch price, this still gives plenty of food without overstuffing yourself. The waitress staff was very friendly and responsive. The pork carnitas nachos are not in the menu but can be ordered still It came out at 133° and was good. The mixed fajitas off the lunch menu was the perfect portion. They came out at 141°. The only thing I wish was different was that next time I hope they don't put the cold lettuce on top of the warm refried beans. I do like how they give you your own bowl for the salsa.
