Dunkin' — Restaurant in Cocoa

Dunkin Donuts on Clear lake last week had an older woman and a younger woman, working between the hours of 2:00p.m. and 3p.m. I ordered a fresh, medium, hot coffee with six sugars and two creams. When I received my coffee it was lukewarm and it wasn't fresh. I came through drive thru; I turned around and went back but this time I went in. I advised my coffee was not fresh and it wasn't hot. The younger woman stated she'd just made a new pot of coffee and I continued to state the coffee wasn't fresh. The older woman stated she understood and would make me a new pot. She gave coffee from the same pot and heated it up somewhat . She asked if it was better but it wasn't. I lied and said "It's better than the first pot." I lied because I knew I would not get a fresh cup of coffee and decided to take a loss. I tossed the coffee out the window on my way home.

I decided to walk in today to make sure the elderly woman and her younger associate was not there. I met a pleasant young man and advised I'd like two, fresh, medium hot coffees with six sugars and two creams. He stated he'd make a fresh pot. He made a fresh pot and before I exited I tasted the coffee. It was indeed fresh. The older woman lied regarding a fresh pot and sympathized with me, however, she had no intention of giving me fresh coffee. I drink coffee daily, grinding my own beans and I know the difference between fresh coffee and coffee that gas sat for hours. My ONLY regret is that I lied about the second cup being better. Ok so two things: Today I came here very sick with extremely low blood sugar and I couldn't even think straight I just knew I needed a cold sugary drink that WASN'T coffee. So I told the girl inside at the register my situation & she was super sweet, sympathetic, understanding & helped me choose i got a Small Raspberry Coolatta. Then I was shaking so bad that I couldn't even swipe my Credit Cards right so she helped me with that, then to my surprise both my cards declined. I was like so embarrassed because the other girl had already made it and here I was with no money except less than a dollar in change. Plus I was super sick and ready to pass out then the girl at the register said to take it anyways, that she would work it out with whomever. I am SO grateful for her, if it weren't for her I would've ended up on the floor or in the hospital. I sat down for a couple minutes & drank a lil bit til I felt ok enough to go to my car & I asked her what her name was on the way out & her name I think was Marisa or Maritza (I'm sorry if that's not it!) So I hope her boss sees this & knows what a great employee they have!

I used to come here every day between 7-10AM to get my usual: A Large Iced Coffee with 3 pumps Caramel Swirl, 3 shots of the sweetened Hazelnut, 3 pumps of Liquid Sugar and 6 Creams. They ALWAYS made it perfect (other Dunkins seem to have trouble with that, idk why), were super sweet, and after a couple weeks they memorized my order which was super sweet! Good place to stop for a coffee and donut This is located on the east side of the I-95 interstate and on the north side of Florida State Road 520. It is a stand-alone building with the iconic Dunkin Donuts’ look. It is located between an Ihop and a gas station. You can either arrive at this location by 1)turning as though you are going to Sam’s club and turning through the gas-station parking lot or 2) travelling past the building on 520 and making a u-turn into their parking lot. Parking is limited as there are only about 11 parking spaces. You can either use their drive through or eat in at the restaurant. There were about 6-8 tables to seat between 2 and 4 people each The restaurant was small but the staff was wonderfully friendly. We ordered coffee, pumpkin and apple donuts. The prices were reasonable and the inside was clean. The outside trashcan was overflowing but overall the area was clean. The coffee and the pumpkin donut were good. The apple donut was not as good.
