10-22-23 came in and the owner Debi was very rude as she came to our table to address out last review. I went in on Father's days with both my husbands and my father and asked to have tables moved together so we could enjoy our father's day with all our family members and was told I could not, however in the back corner of the business is tables that have been put together for another party which has reserved on and only two people came in and sat there.I go in today and there are tables again pushed together on both sides.I asked Deb about this and Debi said it was for her neighbors and that's why they moved tables together. This discussion was heard throughout the small business she owns with her husband. My issue as I stated to Debi was that the customers that keep her in business all year round should have the same consideration as her friends and neighbors as we all pay for the service she provides. The food is good but the accomodations to the regulars that support her business when it's a slow season is in my opinion poor business ethic If you ain't anyone special to her and want to sit with a party of more than 4 people- you better plan on driving past Muddies restaurant cause Debi is not willing to accommodate a party bigger than 4 unless you are willing to separate your family members or you are a neighbor!

Was not very happy with the owner on father's day. My family of 6 came in and we are regulars and asked to turn a table so we could all seat together and she would not let us turn the tables. I seen other couples having to separate there family to have breakfast. She had a big table and it said reserve and only 2 people sat at it. Very uprofessional. I'm very disappointed. Our server...

Muddies So, we've been dining at Muddies for over 8 moonths now. The food is always spot on and quick. With one exception...Avocados should never be frozen and served to humans.. its gross.. fresh is the way to go. Coffee is always on the strong side, a positive as well. The servers have always shined, are friendly, attentative, and accurate.

These are what make a diner shine.

The downside of any establishment will be the management. Not once have either of these owners greeted us. Not once. Patheticly staring at us like we're the scurge of their existence. They recently fired one of the nicest servers we have ever known...."for being too chatty".

Then they fired her teenage daughter by association.

This isn't the only diner that treats their employees like garbage. There are others. Muddies is now on our list of "not going to support anymore"

Good luck with your Tyrannical management style.

Former...

So I couldnt sleep and it was my day off today. I knew I would be cooped up in the house all evening with tropical storm winds so I searched what place does breakfast (that has good reviews) that i havent been to before. I ordered the deluxe breakfast which hit the spot! 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, hashbrowns, sausage gravy & biscuits, and of course bacon! The eggs were cooked the way I liked, the bacon was extra crispy (as I requested), and my coffee cup NEVER came close to being empty! Which brings me to the next side of the story....This service; The waitress knows the customers names and with little help ran the complete dining room (With no empty tables) by herself. This place was ran like a well oiled machine. I will...

We are from out of town and staying in the Cocoa area for a week whilst in Florida. We have been to Muddies twice now and loved it both times. Today we turned up early to make sure we got a table. Our first waitress on Saturday was Karrie (I think), she was so smiley, happy and attentive. She made our day with her wonderful smile. On Tuesday we had Debbie looking after us, she was so chirpy, cheery and 100% a people person. I could have chatted to her for hours as she way a joy to be around and smiling tons. The food is good, the prices good and the atmosphere is cosy and relaxing. I just wish waaaay more places were like Muddies. We will no doubt be back for breakfast again before we leave on Friday :)

Popped into Muddies looking for a quick bite & was pleasantly surprised at the locally owned quality combined with home recipes, which the owner was open to sharing & discussing. I tried their seafood platter & a cup of homemade white bean soup. The Shrimp were nicely & lightly battered giving them a very satisfying crispy crunch while not taking away from the sweat texture of the meat. The star of the show has to be the Crab Cake which was more Crab than filler, if you know then you know. I'm looking forward to returning & trying the breakfast specials. I saw some impressive eggs, home fries, & pancakes being delivered to tables. I'm interested in the Curried Chicken Omelette, that sounds really good.

Great little hidden gem. Found them doing an online search. Definitely a hometown cozy feeling when you enter. You seat yourself at any of the open tables. When we arrived they weren’t super busy. Our drink orders were taken right a Food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the steak and eggs. Steak was a little tough but had good flavor. The grits were awesome! My son enjoyed his deluxe breakfast. Don’t skip the home fries or the biscuits and gravy. We left stuffed and happy! Will return to try different items on the menu. They are only open until 2pm each day and are closed Mondays.
