Brought family here about a month ago when they came to visit cause it looked cool. Atmosphere is great I gotta say. However the experience overall was extremely awkward and overall not good. When we arrived they had a mariachi band playing which is very cool. But the restaurant is not that big and they had not one, but two horn players. To be clear I'm not hating on the music it was actually really good and as a musician myself I can appreciate loud music. But It was so unbearabley loud we could not hear eachother talk at all. And to top it off my nephew who was with us is sensitive to loud sounds due to his autism. We asked the man seating us if the band would be playing long or if there was a spot a little quieter, explaining that my nephew is autistic. He smiled and nodded and then proceeded to seat us two tables away from the band. (Maybe he also couldn't here us over the loud music...) Luckily my nephew didn't seem to mind it so my family assured me it was fine and we continued to order. The waitress was a lovely lady and the saving grace of the whole dinner she was very sweet and kind the whole night. I ordered the the taco de carnitas which is one of my favourit go to options at mexican restaurants. My gf and sister both got mango civiche. The carnitas was soggy, colourless and extremely bland. So was every side on the plate. I ate half of one taco and I would never go back for tacos or recommend them to anyone. my gf took a bite of the civiche and gagged when she bit into a bad shrimp. Followed by my sister who also said it tasted bad. When the waitress came back my gf and sister asked if they could order something else instead. She said of course and took away their civiche as my sister and gf started to browse the menu again. And this is where I lost all respect for this restaurant. Before they could even order, The owner or manager ( a older shorter man and the same one who seated us) walks over to our table to tell us there is nothing wrong with the civiche and if we want to order something else we will have to pay for the dishes we sent back first. to be clear we never asked to have the civiche removed from the bill, and I probably would have just paid for it if it was on the bill when I got it anyway due to not wanting to cause a scene Infront of family. (Which is why I didn't send my food back even though I should have) So feeling extremely uncomfortable that we obviously offended this man we instead ordered nothing. The server was nice enough to remove the civiche from the bill anyway. Which I paid her in the tip instead. And to her I want to say thank you. To that man I want to say take some lessons in customer service before you ruin this restaurant. Like I said the atmosphere is cool, maybe if you just want some drinks it's not a bad idea. But I don't think I'll be going back. Food is easy one star. Nothing anyone got was good. Cuban sandwich was also extremely disappointing. Service would get one star but I'll give it two stars for our our waitress. And I'll be fair and give the atmosphere three solid stars because they also have lots of parking. Overall it gets one star for making a super awkward...

If you’re craving authentic Mexican cuisine paired with top-tier hospitality, look no further. My recent visit to [Restaurant Name] was nothing short of spectacular—from the first sip to the last bite.
Let’s start with the margarita—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Crafted with fresh orange and lime juice, and a smooth pour of Jose Cuervo Silver tequila, it struck the perfect balance of citrusy brightness and refreshing boldness. Each sip was a testament to the bar’s commitment to quality ingredients and expert mixing.
The steak? Outstanding. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and bursting with rich, savory flavors. Paired with the queso fundido, which was indulgently creamy with just the right touch of spice, every bite felt like a warm, comforting embrace. Speaking of spice, the salsa brought the heat in all the right ways—bold and flavorful, without overpowering the palate.
Beyond the incredible food, the menu itself is packed with enticing options, making it tough to choose—but that just means a return visit is already in the cards.
The ambiance was lively yet welcoming, offering the perfect setting for a relaxed evening out. And the service? Phenomenal. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff ensured every detail was taken care of, adding to the overall exceptional experience.
Whether you’re a margarita aficionado, a lover of bold Mexican flavors, or simply someone looking for a fantastic dining experience, [Restaurant Name] delivers on all fronts. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu!

Read moreWent for first visit around 4:30 PM on a Friday. The area near the bar was lively, and the main area had some seating open, but there was surprisingly low volume, making it nice for conversation and ordering without having to compete with background noise. We were seated quickly, and both the hostess and server were friendly and attentive.
Menu had good variety and descriptions of the food and drinks were helpful. Guacamole made fresh daily? Yes, I -would- like that for the appetizer, and LARGE was the correct choice because all three of us were happily filling chip after chip.
I got Sangria, which had an interesting taste - some restaurants tend to go more Tropical, some more Euro retro. This didn’t fit either of those broad categories and hey, “different” works for this one. Rest of the family had Margaritas, which were large and tasty, and just to be extra sure, they got a second round, equally good.
For the main course, I got the Piña Veracruz (pictured). Take a pineapple, split it in half and hollow it out into a serving bowl. Fill with Grilled vegetables, shrimp, chicken, and chunks of pineapple, served with rice and tortillas. Perfection. Big juicy shrimp, all the ingredients grilled like individual kebabs, and very generous portions. I would recommend this dish without hesitation. And wonder what became of the other half of the pineapple. You know, in case they had some pineapple sherbet in the back and were trying to figure out what to serve it in. It’s just good to be prepared for scenarios like that. Unexpected dessert situations.
Overall, highly recommend. Everything was great, more stuff on the menu I want to...
