This place was HORRIBLE. This was probably the WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant. My boyfriend and I wanted to try this place because we were in town and generally 'mom and pop' shops are a hidden treasure with amazing food. However, it was rather the opposite. More like a little shop of horrors(literally were swarmed with flies that their indoor bug zapper hadn't killed). We went in and nobody greeted us(which, ok, fine but have a sign or something so we don't just stand there all awkwardly). We sat down and waited 15 minutes before the waitress finally took our drink order(mind you, there was only 2 other tables there). We waited another 15 minutes before we got our drinks that turned out to be flat soda. We didn't say anything in fear it may take even longer to receive our second order of(hopefully) not flat drinks. At this point I was just praying that the food was worth the crappy service. Boy, was I wrong. We get our appetizers(sample platter $13.50)and the were burnt to high hell. Literally couldn't eat it. They were nuked in old oil and black. I took a picture because I couldn't understand how someone could put that food out and think it was fine!!! My patients was wearing thin at this point and I was dreading the main course. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and my guy ordered the burger. 20 minutes after sending out our appetizers the food had arrived. For the love of all that is holy, I wanted to vomit. My guys burger was a freaking hockey puck. Burnt YET AGAIN and he couldn't finish it. I had enough. I was not going to pay for ashes. We sat there for ANOTHER 20 MINUTES just to get the check. I told the waitress, she looked at our food and agreed completely about everything. Apparently the cook had been burning EVERYONE'S food. I now understood why she was in a foul mood. I would've been too. She gave us the meal for free which was nice but it wasn't an actual meal since we didn't eat anything. Save your time and money and cook at home. PLEASE. This was a joke of a place. That cook needs to go back to basic training or be fired. Oh, and no cards are...
Read moreCustomer service is an unknown word for some people. We did not eat here. We walked in and wanted to see the menu. For some reason the waitress was extremely rude, she did not acknowledge us, while she walked by several times, talking to other customers and leaving a dirty rag on the table in front of us. When she finally saw us she yelled - Are you gonna eat here or not? When we asked for a menu she threw it across the table and cussed us out.
I still wonder why was she so rude to us.
The place was dirty. The toilet seat in the bathroom was broken and there was no soap.
We were in town looking to purchase one of the commercial properties, but decided against it. Not with this kind of neighbors.

Read moreWent during Labor Day weekend and it was relatively busy; I dont think staffing was up to the needs of the restaurant. The server didnt seem to be in a good mood and didnt try to fake it, but she was as prompt and attentive as could be expected while covering the entirety of a full restaurant.
The food took FOREVER, but again I think this could be chalked up to a volume issue and lack of staff to provide service that might otherwise be much quicker. However, the food was really good! Very...
