The girl who took my credit card had her phone sitting on the counter by the cash register. She had it face up. She took my card for payment then before giving it back to me held my card over her phone, flipped my card over still holding it over her phone. Got my receipt and gave me my card and receipt back. When she handed me my card and receipt she saw that i was watching her. I was parked slightly behind the window so i could see her phone on the counter where if i had pulled up all the way i may not have been able to see what she had done. Our eyes locked. She knew i knew. I knew she knew i knew. When my order came she gave me my food and said nothing. She knew i knew and i knew she knew and she knew i would probably complain. She gave me my food and said nothing. I took my food and gave her the look. The look that showed her, i know what you did. Thankfully i used an Apple card that has no numbers on it. I felt that the other people at this location were complacent because no one said anything to her, she did it openly. It was not like she was hiding her phone and copying the card. She had the phone on the counter, in the open, not hidden. Other employees could have easily noticed her.
I went to the Sonicdrive in website and it is useless. There is no way to contact corporate. I used the chat and and the first time i received no help. I asked to email the corporate office. They do not have that option. You can only complain by chat. I tried a second time to complain by chat. They said, than you for the chat and my review will be shared with the drive-in for review. That is basically useless also. The drive-in seemed to be complacent in the first place, letting the young girl have her phone where she could easily video record people's credit cards, in the open in front of other employees. I do not know if a manager or assistant manager was available for the shift and if they were knowledgable of what...
Read moreWhat's been going on for quite awhile could be false advertising, as these photos depict. There is no need to mention quality of meat or preparation, as the ad suggests strongly the presence of vegetables ... which never seem to appear and "the pickle" if present is a slice hidden somewhere.
I would say this IS a deal if delivered as per photo, meat succulent and waiting a minimum BUT there's no deal here, burger fans, sorry for you this was a sorry deal to never repeat after 2 attempts in allowing them to prove themselves. They are out to cheat you.
20-something manager explanations include "out of meat", "must ask for veges (at extra price)", can't substitute instock double patties for single larger one inferred, then resorts to repeating self. No offer to make it right, discounts bait to lure customer back to try again, broken record retorts continue w/o ear, compassion, solutions.
BTW, what others do to move a slow pickup line is to move the gabby, special orders, long waiters up away from the pickup window NOT continue to allow them to distract while you process orders behind them. Some there for only drinks might get a runner out to them early but still have to figure out how to get out of line past the bumper in front of them, while the rest of us wait to move up to the window. Brain power not at work here.
TV ads suggest Sonic has lots to offer. This stagnant menu never seems to change. Specials/deals and new TV items do not appear, so your memory must serve + as the manager will explain, you also have to remember the rules as to which item has which options, which must be mentioned on the fly, if not offered through...
Read morePoor customer services, our food was wrong and took over half an hour to prepare during the only hour we had for lunch. Then they insisted I pay for the fries they mixed up with tator tots, and on top of that they were cold. I then asked for fresh fries and was ruddely today that what I was given was fresh fries. I stated not only was it true my fries were cold but that it was rediculous I had been charged for their mistakes to begin with. They insisted I hand them the cold fries so I did and they then gave me fresh fries. The managers, two young females were then extremely rude and unprofessional by telling me flat out to leave now. Had I been a rude or ugly person about the situation i would've understood that behavior, however I was not. Frustration and disappointed was my only unfortunate display of character. I left having to rush my son back to school and to eat my food. It wasn't over yet because I then was blessed with the rest of the order having been wrong. The buggers were not the burgers I ordered and the extra long cheese coonie had no cheese on it. I will never eat at this particular Sonic again and along with that I am making others aware of this before they waste their money . Do not eat at this Sonic, and if you do you'll be eating at your own rusk. Sincerely A very...
