I recently had the pleasure of dining at House of Kabob and Gyro, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles from the two gentlemen working there, who were incredibly helpful and attentive. They took the time to recommend some amazing dishes for my family’s get-together, and their suggestions did not disappoint.
The Gyros were nothing short of spectacular—perfectly seasoned meat wrapped in warm, fluffy pita, accompanied by fresh vegetables and a creamy tzatziki sauce that complemented the dish beautifully. The shawarma was equally breathtaking—a flavorful blend of spices that truly brought the dish to life, each bite bursting with fragrant aromas.
The sides were equally impressive. The Greek salads were vibrant and refreshing, made with crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, and briny Kalamata olives, all drizzled with high-quality olive oil. Each ingredient tasted incredibly fresh, making it the perfect accompaniment to our meal.
I couldn't resist asking the gentlemen about a secret hot sauce that I had heard whispers of, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer! It added an incredible kick that truly elevated the flavors of the dishes—a must-try for anyone who enjoys a bit of heat.
If you’re searching for an outstanding Mediterranean restaurant, look no further than House of Kabob and Gyro. This gem hits the spot in every way, and I was completely wowed by both the food and the exceptional service. I highly recommend it and can confidently say it’s among the best...
Read moreThe Chicken Tikka was amazing, tender, seasoned. The baklava is softer than baklava at Big Dash, but I actually enjoyed it more because of it!!
My mother tried the Tabouleh and Baba Ganoush. She thought the Tabouleh was a little salty, but she doesnt eat very salty foods. I thought it was perfect. She lost her mind about how good the Baba Ganoush was.
The person taking our order gave us a free Baklava because it was our first time!! It was clean inside.
Also, the water in the soda machine didnt have any trace of the lemonade associated with it. Normally, I just deal with it, but god it was crisp.
God the pita bread was good. It was fresh and thin.
Portions are bigger than expected. If this were downtown Dallas or a richer part of Frisco, every dish would be twice the price they are here.
The dishes come in to-go containers, so it is super easy and accessible to take anything home you might have extra of.
In conclusion, it is fresh, seasoned, kind, clean, casual, good portions, cheaper than expected.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at House of Kabab and Gyro, and I can't rave enough about the experience! As a first-time visitor, I decided to try the mixed grill plate and the chicken tikka over rice. Both dishes were nothing short of exceptional—bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The mixed grill had a delightful assortment of meats, each one tender and seasoned to perfection. The chicken tikka was incredibly juicy, complemented by fragrant saffron rice that made every bite a delight.
Equally impressive was the service. The staff were not only courteous but genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. Especially Hasan really nice and very helpful with the menu, above and beyond service!
