Treated my spouse here foe dinner we've recently decided to go mostly vegan.Here on the eastcoast in Jersey their aren't many options unless you go to New York and even then it's still scarce in my opinion since moving back from the Westcoast where vegan options are everywhere 😀. I lived literally around the corner from this place since Dec, 2018 and I would always see this restaurant pop up on Doordash as well as ubereats ,I'd drive by it when they 1st opened but too scared to stop in because I'm a foodie! I recently moved in December of 2021 and am upset that I never stopped in sooner. Indiya has a really sensual ambiance. As soon as you open the door the fragrance of the spices hits your nose and you feel a sense of warmth, the lighting is just right.The beautiful painting on the wall of a woman attracts you even more.Our waiter did an awesome job.I had chicken Tikka Labradora and my spouse had a lamb dish which was presented very well I may say.My spouse is NOT a foodie but he did like his dish! We also had Mango juice & simosas.The establishment is BYOB. We had a window seat while we enjoyed the native music they played. The place is very polished and cleaned including the bathroom. The wait time for our food was about 30 minutes.I also love the way they served the dishes,it made you feel very exclusive.Please give this place a try!
