Grizzly Grill — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Unamused… We got in line for the grill to order literally just a Mac and cheese for my daughter to eat. Before I was able to get a word in, the cook rudely started the interaction by saying “just so you know we’re closing down soon and anything you order will take awhile to cook and for us to clean up” he then continued trying to guilt trip us and I apologized and said sorry I wasn’t aware you guys were closing soon, what time do you close? To which he said 5. It was 3:25… I asked if I could just get Mac n cheese assuming it’s sitting In a warmer and he said. “We’re out”… as a frequent guest I’m just confused as to the over 1.5 hrs they need to close down. They should make their closing time 3:30 instead since you can’t order your 8 dollar Mac n cheese or 20 dollar cafeteria burger. Just bring your own food or go support a local restaurant...

The one star is for the food quality. I was shocked for a $40+ bill for 2 burgers and 2 drinks. I was expecting something higher quality for the price. I was VERY, VERY, VERY disappointed to realize the burger is nothing more than a pre-formed, frozen burger from Costco/Sam's Club that was so poor quality wise, I instantly regretted the purchase. I was already getting "hangry" and other restaurants like the BBQ had already closed. Burgers were not by choice, but rather lack of options. The people were nice enough, though tired, so the blunt questions/statements..... Lol!

TL;DR- if you wanna pay $45 for terrible, poor quality burgers with a nice view, here...

We had time-slot tickets to the Zoo that coincided with our lunch time, so we just decided to eat at the Zoo. Already knew it would be pricey but decided the convenience was worth it. Lots of choices to choose from so we just grabbed the chicken strip basket. It took about 2.5 secs to receive our food after ordering. Impressive..right? The food was hot and delicious! It did take awhile to checkout.. I wish they had a register for just grill customers..but I digress. The restaurant was spacious with so many food choices. The restrooms were clean and high-tech. There is even a patio if you want to dine outside. It's definitely worth visiting if you...
