Hidden Gem in Briargate — A Must Try for Sushi, Bowls, and Warm Hospitality

I just had one of the most memorable lunches at Ninja Bowl in the Briargate area, and I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and sincerity that it felt like more than just a meal. It felt like a genuinely welcoming experience.

The folks running the place (whom I assume are the owners) were some of the kindest, most gracious people I’ve ever met in the restaurant world. You could tell they genuinely care. About their food, about their customers, and about making you feel appreciated just for being there.

We ordered a mix of rice bowls, ramen, musubi, and sushi, and everything was absolutely on point. You can tell that the owner puts serious thought into presentation. It’s that rare combination of food that looks beautiful and tastes even better.

But what really set this place apart? After we finished our meal, they literally ran out the door to give our kids some chocolate pie snacks just because. No charge, no expectation. Just pure generosity and joy in seeing a family happy.

I get the feeling this place might not be getting the level of foot traffic it truly deserves, which is why I’m writing this. If you’re in the area, even if you’re not, go support this place. Whether you’re a sushi fan, a bowl enthusiast, or just someone who appreciates amazing hospitality, Ninja Bowl will blow you away.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant in every metric. This is my new "go to" for sushi. Providing context, I went here recently and was thoroughly impressed by the quality and service. I unfortunately, had an incident with my child and the owners actually checked on us and provided my son with ginger ale free of charge. This is not only the first time a venue has been so caring but also the first time I have been treated so well. On top of the incredible hospitality, the food was beyond incredible. Ninja Bowl now has a customer for life who will not deviate from this venue. I simply cannot recommend them enough. This resturant made my day brighter. Thank you for what you provide. Please do yourself a favor and check this place out, thank me later and enjoy yourself. I wish I could give this resturant 10 stars! I have some mixed feelings about this place. It seems like it changed owners recently. It used to be a place for casual sushi, poke bowls and simple rolls. At this moment it still is, with signage and setup is still same as before. BUT, if you look at their website/online ordering, they seem to be in the process of replacing the menu with standard sushi restaurant fare: rolls and bentos and no mention of poke. I'm not sure how they're going to pull off that change, as the space is much to small for a real sushi restaurant, and we have pretty good alternatives just past Interquest anyway.

Menu changes aside, I was able to get the poke bowl from the old menu and it was good but not great. The salad mix in it was drenched with oil, and when the house dressing was added in, it was way too much. The rice was just standard sticky rice, I wouldn't call...
