Overtime Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Change the name of the bar if you're not going to be a sports bar. I came to watch game 4 of round 1 of the stanley cup playoffs, but there was a burlesque show at 9pm. Not at all a problem, watch a few periods, chat with my friend, but sound check for the burlesque show was not at all a sound check, and began at 8pm, an hour before the show. Several tracks played at full volume, I asked the bar staff if I should go somewhere else if I want to watch the game, and they said, "no one is asking you to leave." They ask the dj to turn it down, turn up the game, and come ask me if it's good. I say yeah, and begin to drink my next beer, I step away from my drink for 5 minutes and come back to our drinks picked up and our tabs already paid. What is that exactly if not asking us to leave? I've been coming to OT for 4 years for playoffs, regular season games, championships, and spent plenty of money there. But not anymore after that. Be who you want to be, love who you want to love, but if you want to be a sports bar, don't actively disrespect your clientele that read the sign correctly. Also, gratuity was charged to both me and my friends cards, and I did ask my waiter if I could tab out, after I came back to my drink being gone. That is absolutely terrible business. Went here last Saturday (11-19-22) for a College Football watch party. Montana/Montana St. (Freaking Cats Killed us…But that’s another day) anyway, they also had a regular K-state group there too. Neither group was happy because at a SPORTS BAR, they could not show both games at once as they did not have 2 accounts! REALLY??!! How can you claim to be a sports bar and not be able to stream 2 different games at once? You all have been around for a while, this can’t be the 1st Saturday that this happened. Then having wait staff yell at people to get off your Wi-Fi blaming customers for your shortfall was not smart. We left somewhere around the middle to end of the 1st quarter as I got tired of watching the game over someone’s shoulder on their cell phone!

The food and (most) of the wait staff was good, thus the 3 stars. If I was ever to have to schedule an event like this again though,, no way I’d even consider this...

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. I just was here and people working in the bar were handing out clappers for the football game. I was sitting here simply doing nothing and this man came over and ripped it out of my hand. I tried to take it back which resulted in him pulling even harder, he was yelling at me when I Literslly was doing nothing. Mind you this man was here with his 4 kids… he was on his 4th or 5th beer, and the owner came in and did nothing. The servers did nothing nobody cared. This place supports abuse, and negative energy. Do not go here. Such a terrible experience besides my server!! “Nebraska bar” I am truly from Nebraska born and raised and I’ve never met somebody so rude. This business is dishusting.
