Turmeric Indian Cuisine does not disappoint. From the moment you walk through the door till you're headed out, the entire experience is fantastic. This was our first visit & it will definitely not be our last. I've tried several Indian restaurants in my travels & have been frequenting the same one here in the Springs for a few years. After seeing a post for Turmeric, I decided to switch it up. I'm so glad I did. Upon entry the smell is immediately welcoming. We were greeted right away & seated. The decor was a wonderful modern, simple palette & I loved it. We were provided water almost as soon as we sat down & our waiter took our drink order. After looking over the menu, we decided on Naan (plain & garlic), Chicken Tikka Masala & Matar Paneer (both medium spice). The wait seemed to be what you would expect for the amount of food we ordered. When the food arrived, the smell was overwhelming, in the best way. It was served in white dishes which made the vibrance of the orange color even more defined. I also decided to try a Maharaja with my meal, what a nice compliment. I do wish they had Old Monk 10,000, but Maharaja does the trick! 😃 The food was the BEST Indian food, l've eaten to date in any city l've been in. The chicken was moist & flavorful, the sauce left nothing to be desired. Matar Paneer, my personal favorite, checked all the boxes. The paneer was soft & flavorful, the sauce was the perfect flavor & heat. I also typically look for at least one saffron "thread" & I found it! Overall, there are no words for how much I enjoyed this visit. Turmeric provides exactly what you expect when you dine out. From the atmosphere, to the attentive staff & phenomenal food it was an experience that made you feel as though you were the only customer. Restaurants here in the Springs could definitely learn a few things from Turmeric. We loved it so much that 2 days later, we ordered takeout. It was the same quality & portions as dining in, but in the comfort of our home. We'll be returning REALLY soon!!!

If you're a fan of Indian cuisine then this is the place for you to go. The restaurant is located in an unassuming newly built strip mall that's across from a gas station right off the road. We were greeted warmly by the hostess who brought us to our table by the window. She asked us if this was our first time eating here and welcomed us delightedly when we told her it was our first time here. We looked over the menu and while we were deciding I ordered two hot chai teas. They were very aromatic and flavourful and most importantly made fresh. My wife added sugar to hers and it was great, I would recommend they have honey instead of sugar though as it provides a better flavor and is just better in general. From the menu we ordered the Samosas, Spinach Saag, Aaloo Gobi, and Garlic Naan Bread. When you order they ask you what level of heat you'd like and we told them to make it spicy. The Samosas were aromatic and spiced perfectly, they come with mint chutney and tamarind sauce both of which were amazing and lent to the flavor of the Samosas. Our main dishes arrived shortly after finishing our Samosas, you get two of those with the order by the way. When our food arrived it was plated very well and looked appetizing (it was hard to take the photos and not dig in right away!). The Saag was some of the best I've ever had, spiced delicately and with ample chunks of paneer dropped in throughout. The flavors dance across your tounge as your eating and each bite leaves you with a desire to have another one. The Aaloo Gobi was the star of the show though, it's flavors envelop your sense of smell and taste. Paired with the rice (which has cardamom in it) makes it the perfect meal to eat when you're craving something healthy, filling, and nutritious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that's looking for amazing Indian cuisine with a pleasant atmosphere and an amazing friendly staff.

Indian food in Colorado is overwhelmingly underwhelming. Turmeric Indian Cuisine is the first restaurant I’ve been to in my eleven years of living in this state that is worthy of the Indian restaurants I ate at in New York. We started with the Indo-Chinese staple, Gobi Manchurian. I have never eaten this in my life and it was better than I could have imagined. Cauliflower, lightly battered in a chickpea flour and coated in a spicy sauce; I could have eaten six plates of this. Next came the momo which were excellent, but ended up being the third best appetizer we tried. The dipping sauce was cashew, carrot, and ginger based and it was phenomenal. The final appetizer we ordered was the garlicky shrimp and it was perfection. The shrimp was butterflied and cooked perfectly, and atop was a sauce made of tomato, onion, garlic, and cilantro. It was fresh and fabulous. Our entrees were the lamb boti kebab and palak paneer. The lamb was seasoned to perfection but cooked well done. I don’t know if they would cook it to a more reasonable temp if we asked, but we didn’t ask so I don’t hold it against them. In fact, the only thing I didn’t like about this trip was the guy who wore his hat while eating. I get it, bud, you have a Molon Labe sticker on your F-250 and shop at Scheel’s, but a blue camo dad hat isn’t acceptable to wear while you’re dining. We could all tell you’re bald, we don’t care. Now that I’ve gone over the only unfortunate thing about our dining experience, let me get into the absolute best part. The Palak Paneer. This dish is one I order at every Indian restaurant I go to, and some are good, some are terrible. This was so incredibly exceptional that I started crying tears of joy. It reminded me of my favorite version of the dish that I ever tried, from the now closed Star of India in Buffalo, NY. It brought me back to a simpler time, before my divorce, before four years of Donald Trump (who I’m certain most everyone in Turmeric Indian Cuisine voted for,) before Covid, etc. I normally would have devoured this dish but I couldn’t stop crying so it’s sitting in the fridge waiting for me to be away from men who believe that crying...

What an abysmal experience. With all the rave reviews before I hope that my experience was an anomaly.

My party of 4 arrived at 6 and were seated. It took 20 mins to be greeted for our drink orders. As we had time, we ordered our appetizers and main dishes as well.

Another 20 mins before the first appetizer came out. After yet another 20 mins, and asking about it, our second appetizer came out.

An additional 15 mins for our entrees.

Here is the good news; the food was good. Not the best Indian in the city. I found the sauces to have a grainy texture; almost like the various spices had been too ground too coarse with not enough liquid and too short a time cooking. The flavors, however, were on point and certainly satisfied.

When we were done we ordered a mousse dessert to share. When the waiter brought out the key lime torte we tried to explain that wasn’t what we had ordered. He tried to convince us that the torte he had brought was the mousse cake! He finally brought over a manager who confirmed the mistake. He left the torte for free and had the mousse cake brought out. The torte, despite being free was still too expensive. It seemed to have been in the fridge, uncovered, for far too long and the lime gel on top had dried out. The mousse cake on the other hand was frozen hard as a rock… not at all what a mousse should be like.

Another nearly 30 mins then transpired as we waited, while trying to gain the attention of the waitstaff, for the check to be handled. They hadn’t recorded which side of the table had ordered which items. So, instead of having separate checks handled correctly, we chose to just split the check evenly.

A side note, the waitstaff touch the sides of the drinking glasses with the water jar they refill from, this was just gross!

Bottom line, the food was ok. The service was incredibly disappointing. There is something to be said to have a dining experience; this is not the...
