This quaint little place was a delightful find. Our first visit we arrived on a Tuesday evening just past 6 and had to wait 20 minutes to get a table. Obviously, they're doing something right. The prices were quite reasonable and people seemed to be enjoying themselves and their meals. Since it's in their name, I went with the steak salad with shrimp ($15). This was my third time in as many days getting this same(ish) meal. The other places were better, but they were also (far) more upscale places and more expensive. To be clear, I absolutely enjoyed this meal. I would have liked some cucumbers in my salad and the use of better tomatoes (maybe cherry tomatoes) instead of the more finely chopped tomatoes. They weren't bad, just thought they could be better. It came with shredded cheddar cheese--again, better cheddar, or even bleu cheese crumbles would have been a better choice (and if you're doing that, throw in some bacon). But based on the price (at least $6 cheaper than the fancier places), it was exactly what it should have been. Again, I'm just talking making it even better--I really enjoyed it. My shrimp was peeled, cold, and tasty. My only real complaint was my steak was thin (which was fine), but was on the dry side--not overcooked, just dry in this format. I ordered medium, but medium-rare would be a better choice here. My wife ordered a cheeseburger of some kind (I don't actually know what specifically). We were surprised that it came on Texas Toast instead of a standard burger bun. Not a bad thing--just didn't read the fine print and it was a surprise. She enjoyed her burger. We both ordered a cup of green chili ($5) and that was excellent. It's not the fanciest place, but I appreciated the humor in the restroom. Overall we enjoyed our meals and I'm looking forward to returning next time I'm in the area.

This review is for the LUNCH I had. I can’t speak to their steak and seafood. First off, the ambiance here is that of a western sports bar- I enjoy it. A small town feel can be found so close to Denver- I love it. The food is great. I had their club sandwich and my partner had their green chili fries and a salad. All three tasted amazing. The only thing that took this place from a 5 to a 4 was the service speed. Let me be clear, our waitress was wonderful and apologetic but they seemed understaffed which caused us to wait almost an hour to get our food. That’s a bit rough for a lunch time meal. That being said- I’d happily return for a dinner service to try their steak/seafood as I don’t mind waiting a little bit for a great dinner.

Love this place! Was in the area to swim at the reservoir with some friends and swung by this place (conveniently close) for a bite to eat afterwards. The vibe here was great when we visited. Definitely attracts a bit of an older, small town type of crowd (we are in our 20's & 30's so take "older" however you wish) but I absolutely loved it as I'm from a very small town in Eastern Colorado. We could have easily made our whole meal out of the appetizers here ( I actually did ) they were seriously amazing. But my friends really enjoyed their food. Two thumbs up! Will absolutely return next time I want something delicious after a swim in the area :) great view from the front windows as well! Loved this spot!

First time customer and Underwhelmed. Maybe dine is better but take out seemed par for the prices. Onion rings were good but not for $10. Beer battered fish was bland and lightly battered. Steakhouse burger was cooked right and had a good flavor but the green chili in it was pointless, lacked flavor and spice. We ordered dessert and had 2 Reese’s Peanut Butter Pie not knowing any better. You’d think for $10 you’d get something amazing but it was comical and do not recommend ordering it. It looked and tasted like something from Burger King’s old dessert menu. Overall the place was packed for a Friday night and the service was exceptional.
