Collision used to be a good place for vegans since they had a good amount of vegan options. However, I stopped going for a while because I felt like the quality of their plant based options were going down. Overall, i no longer recommend vegans to come here. I recent visited again to give them another try and because I am moving away from the area in general so it won’t be close, and I was disappointed that the quality continued to decline over the time I hadn’t eaten there.
I ordered the seitan wings, which have always been delicious and still were this time. But the vegan macaroni is not worth the price and the quality of the dish has declined a lot. The menu reads the same as it used to for this dish, except they added “seasonal veggies.” it’s my fault for not asking what the veggie was, but it ended up being carrots, squash, and brussel sprouts. The carrot and squash flavor was very much overpowering the dish, so I only had about 4 bites before I gave up on it.
I didn’t mention anything at the restaurant since I get social anxiety in these situations, so I called the next day when I reviewed their menu and recalled my dish had no red peppers, mushrooms, or green onions (just a lot of brussel sprouts, carrots, and squash), and the supervisor I spoke to explained what the seasonal veggies were and how he could resolve the issue for me. I explained I would like a refund for the meal since I didn’t really eat $18 worth of this dish, and he said they don’t do refunds but to ask for him next time and he’ll see what they can do for me.
I won’t be going back because to “see what they can do for me” because I’m not going to pay again for an overpriced meal that’s unsatisfactory and doesn’t actually match the menu...
Read moreThe BEST place for a wedding! This review is long past due, as we had our wedding reception here in September of 2023, but better late than never.
My husband and I are very simple people. We wanted our wedding to reflect us as much as possible (we don't like going all out with money and materialist things, wanted it to be small, oh...and we love cars!), and Collision did just that. Eric, the owner and his staff were outstanding. They made it as beautiful and hassle free as we needed. We gave them a rather extensive list on how to set up the entire reception, and they NAILED IT. I was so nervous they would have a hard time seeing my vision, but they did it exactly how I imagined. On top of the wonderful decor set up, the food was amazing. Our guests could not stop complimenting the menu. I have sadly been to countless weddings with a very expensive menu that was eh. This on the other hand was as good as a home cooked meal. Huge thanks for the Chef! The night ended in music, dancing and drinks.. and they let us have a blast.
Overall, we all felt so welcomed and understood. The whole staff took great care of us all and even cleaned up afterwards, packing our decor very nicely in boxes for us to pick up the next day. Guests are still complimenting our choice in a venue to this day and how intimate and unique it was.
Eric and your team, we cannot thank you enough. I'd say we will absolutely be booking your event room for our next wedding, but we only get married once! We will although recommend you to anyone and everyone that needs any event done. You have a wonderful establishment and you made our wedding...
Read moreWent for dinner, let me start off by saying Our waitress was awesome! However we were very disappointed and frustrated with the quality of the food. Kitchen staff needs to be talked to.
Waited almost 40 minutes to get our food for a party of 2. When it finally arrived the hostess that brought it out pretty much dumped our plates in front of us and walked off.
My cowboy burger was served with disgustingly undercooked and almost straight fat bacon. Our waitress was excellent helping with the issue asking for a replacement to be brought out only to be just as gross as before with one side of each piece of bacon being a little more cooked.
Kitchen staff needs work and have a little more care, it’s not that hard to cook bacon.
Portions have also shrunk significantly with the same rather pricey cost of a meal.
They also have a 4% fee now to use a credit card which is absolutely RIDICULOUS!
We also sat outside. They only had one regular citronella candle which another table already requested so we were provided 2 tiny candles that did little to no good keeping the mosquitoes away.
Management needs to have citronella candles or torches in the outdoor seating area to keep the mosquitoes and bugs away in the evening.
Will likely give them another try. Hopefully our next experience will be better. Our waitress was absolutely outstanding making sure our issue was handled the best...
