Marie's — Restaurant in Colorado

I posted multiple pictures below.i purchased a cake last year and it was beautiful but this year no it was a mess. My husband wanted to order me a birthday cake to kinda to cheer me up I lost my mom in March and I didn't want anything but he went and ordered me a cake away with high expectations anyway. they were still working on the cake and we did NOT see it before buying it BIG mistake! the cake was cracked on the second layer and it was poorly frosted the girl was so excited and I didn't want to hurt her feelings another mistake I made I was not happy i should of said something! we followed the same instructions as last time and i lived way out in the county and my cake made it fine but this time i lived in town no reason the cake fell over i put it in the fridge over night took it out 2 hours before the party like she said and she said the box was to big for the cake and we drove careful and when it was time to open the box for cake it was tipped over with markings shown below . i'm not expecting something free a coupon for half off next time would of been great but no she had excesses to cover hers and the girl hailey mistake that did the cake I would of went back if a coupon or credit was issued but no i get im sure it tasted great ! the fondant star was crooked, the frosting was melted looking and when i got home the cake was on a flat surface in the fridge, the frosting was melted like they frosted it hot still. after her response i had no choice to eat a $100 messed up cake the frosting was to sweet and there was 1 little wooden stick in the middle of the cake no wonder why it tipped over it had no support last year there was 5 or 6 . I recommended this place to so many people and this is what i got i already know an excuse that this was our fault will come out of it but wanted to save the next person from not spending $100 on a cake for it to look like this . posted the repose from the shop also !

since i can't respond to your comment i'll put it on here. if you would of answered the phone I wouldn't of have to put the ugly cake on here ! cute Walmart could of did a better job than you did and for a lot cheaper . i wouldn't be proud of that cake like i said i stand by my word , here your posting that stupid cake like it's a prize with my name on it so take it off cuz it's my name on it but than a arrogant person such as yourself won't! good for you that you change the date anyone else could of do it and I hope people see what a pathetic business you got going on in spite you post the cake when you can see the fault on it before it left your shop ! Don't worry posted the cake all over Facebook and on here so no one else waist their money on over priced food and cakes and they said the same thing you handled it poorly and you don't care and this show's it you don't ! And you had a week notice of change of party date so it’s not like it was throwin at you 24 hours or less !NOT ASKING FOR THE MONEY BACK WAS ASKING TO MAKE IT RIGHT IT MELTED ON THE INSIDE OUT ! BUT you don't care about nothing but yourself so many people were gonna come to you but word of mouth spreads...

INCREDIBLY CONTENT AND SATISFIED. DEFINITELY GIVE THEM A TRY!!! This place had great service and highly recommend. I'm fairly new to Pueblo West and have honestly struggled to find REALLY GOOD food (Sorry PW). However, after driving by Marie's several times since being here, my husband and I decided to finally stop in. We were craving a really good burger and figured we would give it a try. Best decision ever!! Marie's honestly exceeded my expectations.... For starters, They have really friendly staff and a convenient drive thru. We each got a double cheeseburger basket and I upgraded mine to have the southwest fries and hubby got a banana milkshake. The shoestring fries were incredibly tasty, crisp and soft and not heavily salted. The burger came in a really soft brioche bun (they also offer gluten free I noticed), the patty was perfectly seasoned, moist and the thickness was just right. It did not appear to be a typical frozen round patty. It tasted super fresh and had a really nice sear/crust from the grill. It was ooey and gooey with cheese and all of the traditional fixings came on the side so that was nice. I didn't notice if they offered grilled onions or mushrooms but that would have been the "cherry on top". It was such a big burger that I should have gotten a single patty but oh man was it good. It did not come with any sauce or ketchup but they do ask you if you want any but we declined not knowing nothing came on the burger. However it did not need any condiments anyway because it was so cheesy and moist and the best part is I didn't get any grease drips. It was not a greasy burger. The southwest fries were topped with a really tasty green chili and cheese. Pretty solid green chili with nice chunks of super tender pork. My husband's shake was not overly sweet and tasted of vanilla ice cream and real banana. Last but not least, the basket meals came with a mini cupcake! Perfectly made BTW. It was so moist and spongey, chocolate flavored (my fave) with a small sweet dollop of frosting. It was so good and a nice treat you don't normally get anywhere else. Definitely going...

We need a location in town ASAP! our first time in and the food was amazing paired with awesome service made it an all around great experience. As we like to do when we try something new we got a little of everything. The cheeseburger was delicious with LTOP on the side to build it as you please. The fish basket was also really good had a very unique taste to the batter, almost sweet, the in house tarter sauce was bomb & we added a little lemon to the fish made it even better! The chilli Philly was absolutely BUSSIN 💯 nice hoagie bun with plenty of cheese, onion, bell pepper, & of course pueblo chillis ! Now the highlight for myself was the mega sausage sandwhich it made me feel some kind of special way & I liked it, every bite start to finish! The French fries were true shoe string fries fried to about damn perfection, we enjoyed them dipped in the really tasty Marie's sauce! The only thing that wasn't great per say but still ok were the mac n cheese bites they were fried very nicely but kind of bland once you got into them nothing from the cheese itself or any flavor from just macaroni noodles maybe like a rub or sauce option to toss them in but unfortunately didnt slap like we had hoped but nothing that would ever stop us from coming back. The mini cupcakes that come with your basket are a nice sweet little treat that you won't get any where...
