Solar Roast Coffee — Restaurant in Colorado

Visited the newest location and it is really nice!! They didn't have the green chili for the green chili white mocha so I got my usual Pueblo mocha. It wasn't as good as the one at the original Solar Roast. And I had to add a whole bunch of sugar to make it drinkable for me. The cayenne was great as always. My friend got the lavender mocha which was kinda strongly sweet in the beginning. Turns out she just had to mix it well. After that, it was delicious. And I say this even though I don't like lavender in my drinks.

We also got the chicken pesto and the ham and cheese croissants. The chicken pesto was YUM. Lots of pesto, which is the trick. Heavy so I took half home. The ham and cheese wasn't anything special as per my friend.

My family and I went this morning and man they messed up the whole order. My son got cheese with his egg eye opener and they didnt add it, I ordered an everything bagel with garden spread and didn’t give me the spread, instead they added it to my husband tomato eye opener.We also got two coffees, my husband’s was all milk with a splash of coffee and my coffee granita was just loaded with cinnamon powder, it’s so overpowering it just tastes like cinnamon water. The most annoying part of it all was that we were the only ones there at the time, so to mess up the order this bad is frustrating. Solar roast use to be a nice place me and my husband like to go but as of resent all the solar roast in town just fall short. I want to give a shout out to the team they always receive you with a smile and always willing to provide the best service. Today I used the drive thru and I was looking inside the kitchen (watching the team work) I noticed that while working on my Lock bagel, she was not changin her gloves between working with vegetables, salmon and then touching the pastries. Thankfully I'm not allergic to that cross contamination, but I am worried for those who could be affected by this. The food was tasty and I knew that she had changed her gloves before prepping my order.
