My wife and I decided to look for a brunch place while we were in Denver on our honeymoon. We saw the reviews and that this was a small, locally owned business only about 20 minutes from our hotel, so we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed!

When you enter, it's got this nice, down home vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we were quickly taken care of. The waitress was attentive, and the coffee refills were frequent.

The food was incredible. My wife ordered the spinach bacon omelette (added grilled onions) with a side of hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were finely cut and perfectly crisp. The omelette was nicely balanced. For her, the highlight was the selection of house blend hot sauces. If you like hot sauce, you should definitely try them all. My personal favorite was the Chipotle Pepper, which had a nice smoky taste. The Ghost Chile was extremely spicy, but added an amazing kick. But if you're not into tons of spice, you should try the Garlic Serrano.

I ordered the Mighty Meat skillet, topped with gravy and scrambled eggs. Each individual piece, from the bacon, ham, and sausage, to the gravy, to the egg, was delicious, but all together, it was a masterpiece.

Truly, if you are vacationing around Denver, this place is a MUST! The exit from I25 over to the quaint little town of Sedalia alone was worth it, and everything just got better from there. The people eating at the diner were also incredibly nice. One couple even paid for our meal. Friendly people, gorgeous location, and...

My husband and I visited for the first time this morning and am so happy we did. Best service from Dani plus she had a wonderful personality. Great food and an excellent variety of yummy choices. I love that they are open for breakfast and lunch. If you like Southern cooking as well this is a must stop. (Southern done right!) Chicken fried chicken with gravy, Chicken fried steak etc. They even do burgers, steak and Mexican. The pork green chili sauce is the bomb. My eggs over medium were cooked perfectly to my liking and the potatoes were so good. My hubby is picky about chicken fried steak, but this was cooked to perfection (I got to try a bite) We will be back SOON and often I'm certain. Thank you all for a great experience plus excellent customer service. Enjoyed meeting Arlene and Donna as well. Hope I am getting ya'lls names right! It has a small-town charming vibe to the place. Loved the decor. You could probably eat here every day and see something new. This was a dining EXPERIENCE. Family feels and homey. P.S. can't wait to come back and try the lunch selection plus the homemade pies...

So this place food was a very small portion. I got conbeef hash eggs and hash browns. Well, it looked like I ordered a kids' meal. I literally got like 6 fork full of hash, and they fill your plate with eggs to make it look like a good deal potatoes. There was this old man there who was on his cellphone talking supper loudly. I said something he was not eating either but they don't care he's was a regular they did not ask him to stop I mean he was cursing and it was loud I said something to the staff and they said they curse too. lol, this place is older than dirt, not updated or anything. You would think they would keep up with the times, yes, so I overpaid for my meal with a drink. My total was $18.95. For once again no food and a grand total with tip $25 bucks, I feel ripped off . This place is way over priced go anywhere but here for breakfast waffle House puts out a way better...

This is the epitome of country cafe eateries! A place where your server calls across the room “Grandma, is there any cherry pie left?” And if there is, you’re in luck because it’s homemade and delicious. A *lot* of what’s on the menu is homemade, including the incredible meatloaf. The walls are decorated with personal stuff from family and friends, so it has a genuine down-home feel to it. It’s a dining experience straight out of the 60s and not to be missed. Update 10/7/2024: well, sadly, we won’t be coming back here. I watched the owner of the cafe put this sign out front herself, so I know one of the cafe’s patrons is not responsible. I don’t spend my hard-earned money in establishments who are no doubt passing a portion of that money on to candidates and causes representing values diametrically opposed to my own. It’s too bad, too, because it was our favorite breakfast place.

Fantastic diner in Sedalia with great service - thanks Monique! Fast with the coffee refills and meal. We had the veggie skillet with scrambled eggs and tried their pepper sauces! Loved that - also had the Mighty Meat skillet and she let my husband do half and half, half green Chile sauce and half gravy - he was full til dinner! Friendly folks with a massive homemade menu, cinnamon rolls and sticky buns, pies and lots of homemade breads - yum yum! Definitely a keeper this Irish Cafe in Colorado
