Callaghan's Coffee Cafe — Restaurant in Columbia Township

My parents are local and visit Callaghan's frequently. My wife and I got married on 9/28/2024 in Brighton, MI and my mom insisted on having Chad and Desiree bring out the coffee truck to serve our guests, and I am so so happy they did! Our day had some rain, which made the coffee, smoothies, lotus drinks, and soft drinks an absolute hit. After our ceremony, the coffee truck line was longer than our bar line. We had about 180 guests so even when the line got long, service was incredibly quick and spot on! Quite a few of our guests told myself and my wife that it was simply the best cup of coffee they have ever had and kept asking Chad & Desiree if they would consider selling in bulk to those who live a distance! I moved to Michigan 2 years ago from Washington, where there was a great coffee stand with a 1 to 2 block radius of anywhere you drove, and this is the first coffee place I have found that actually had great coffee and service.. AND A DRIVRTHRU!!!!! The coffee was stellar at met my super bougee high Washington standards (no, Starbucks is not those standards). Thank you!!!! This is a great location in Brooklyn, MI, at the center of the Irish Hills Lake Country and about three (3) miles due north of the Michigan International Speedway.

Callaghan's has all your classic coffee and espresso drinks along with a great assortment of baked goods and light sandwiches. You can buy baked goods from Bliss Bakery, which is a treat, since Bliss is typically a custom baking company.

If you're on the run, there's a drive-through, but parking is easy. I recommend going and making some time to enjoy coffee inside with friends. If you need a quiet place to work for a bit, Callaghan's is a great place to have coffee and a sandwich and get some work done.
