We Ordered Four Regular Meals and One Kids' Meal and, Finally, Received the Last, of our Food, at, around 9:55 P.M., Only, to be Told, to Vacate, Three Minutes Later, as, According, to the Manager, 'Leo,' the Owner Demands His Lobby, to be Empty, by No Later, than, 10:05 P.M.. 'Leo,' Who Became Increasingly Rude, When we Expressed our Frustration, at being Denied Even 10 - 15 Minutes, to Finish the Food, that, we had Purchased, did Not Care, at All, that, we had Waited, on Them, for the Food, that, we had Purchased, Over 40 Minutes Ago, without Any Complaint; I might Add, or, that, we do Not Live In Town, so, Trying, to Repack and Carry Out our Food would Only Render It Both Cold and Old Enough, so, as, to be Hardly Worth Eating, by the Time, that, we Arrived, at Home; 'Leo' Only Cared, that, the Lobby was Empty. Well, if our Experience, This Evening, is, at All Indicitive, of an Average Experience, There, I, for One, will Not be Suprised, in the Least, to See That Lobby Empty, with Increasing Frequency, Despite Their Recent and Rather Attractive Remodel. What Started Out, to be a Fun, Quick Supper, for our Family, after a Busy Evening, of Sports and Kids' Activities and 'Second' Jobs, Slowly, Despite our Patience, become Incredibly Frustrating and a Complete Disappointment. We have Long - Enjoyed Their Chicken Strip Baskets and were Pleasantly Surprised, with the Ease, of Use, and 'Deals,' that, we Found, Ordering, from Their App, for the First Time. However, No Amount, of Savings, on Cold Milk Gravy and Lukewarm French Fries, could Convince me, to Choose, to Patronize a Location, with Such an Utter Disregard, Even, Contempt, for Their Customers / Professionalism. I no longer live in the area, but saw that my past review needed to be changed because they no longer deserve that. Keep up the good work!! I have never left a Google review but I feel I had to say something. This is the worst DQ I've ever been to. This is the worse restaurant of any kind that I have ever been to. My husband and I have lived in the area for years and only had a few good experiences here. We opt to travel farther to Waterloo DQ because of the horrible experiences here. But every now and then we decide to give Columbia DQ a chance and are mad at ourselves every single time. There needs to be a mature adult there. Tons of horsing around every time. I watched them play with ice cream and throw out 4 ice cream cones from it, and kick around cones on the floor. The employees are horrible at talking to customers! If they get something wrong and you let them know - the attitude you get!! Our order is always wrong!! Don't get me started in the wait. Today we waited 20 minutes! It's basically ran by high schoolers who don't know or understand customer service, let alone respect! They need guidance and training especially since they're our future! Read moreService here is horrible. It's so bad that I stopped coming here 3 years ago, and it hasn't improved. I ordered a brownie sundae, they gave me my number and I sat down. I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE ENTIRE RESTRAUANT! After 15 minutes, I walk up to the counter, the same person who took my order in the first place, asked me again if she could take my order, so clearly she forgot about me. I asked for my sundae, "Oh I'm sorry," and hands it to me. What I got was disgusting, she knew it was disgusting because she tried to hide it under napkins when she handed it to me. I was so disgusting that I threw it away and walked out. The ice cream had melted and I was handed this brown soupy mess. I wasted $5 and 15 minutes of my time.
