Ok y’all. This was my first time eating here. I thought it was just going to be another barbecue buffet. I stand rightly corrected! This place was reasonably priced buffet at 14.95+ my drink. Everything that I had, everything, was above and beyond my expectations. The pulled pork was tender and full of flavor and not dried out. Not full of gristle or chewy. It was a perfect texture for eating by itself or making little cornbread sandwiches, or whatever with it. The hash and the rice was perfect. Excellent flavor and the rice was not mushy, or dried out. Just perfect. The macaroni and cheese was done to perfection and all of the side fixins were excellent. Among all of the normal side items was something that really stood out to me in the desserts. I have eaten here twice now on my first visit I had the buffet or lack thereof I found the pulled pork to be tasteless and dry the chicken was oily and the skin fell off the biscuits are soggy and lacking any flavor the mac and cheese is just macaroni with melted craft singles on top . Upon my second visit I had the brisket sandwich not only was it overcooked it also like the pulled pork before has no taste and a rough texture as if it was left out for to long it was in between the texture of overcooked bacon and a leather belt im not even sure if it was smoked or put in the microwave and the fries are soggy enough to tie a knot I'm not lying I tied them in a square knot so I would not recommend this place as a legitimate BBQ joint. I got the buffet, and the food was mostly dry, or flavorless. I don't like wasting food, but I couldn't even stomach some of the items I got. The baked chicken was so dry it took me like 2 minutes to chew and hurt my jaw. I heard their stuff you order outside of the buffet was good, but I just called to order and they told me that i have to come in to order. Like what??? Get with the times. Let me call an order in and come pick it up. Update your Google too. It says on it that there are easy call in orders like 1 meat and 2 sides. Seems super lazy to me to just leave it like that. Their Mac and cheese so awful. Like did they not think to season it? I hate to rate them like this, but they have to have better food than that...
