La Fuente — Restaurant in Columbia

Eaten in here many times always been a good experience until today. We placed a doordash order and we were missing an entire meal. We called to ask if we could come get it and the lady was just arguing with us saying it was in the bag( it was not in the bag) she tried to blame the doordash driver saying that they stole our food but the bag came sealed and untouched. We asked for a manager who is conveniently never there. The food arrived ice cold. Our dasher had to wait forever to get it. We ended up just going on DoorDash and getting the money back that way since the lady was rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful. I find it incredibly rude for her to sit there and blame the DoorDash driver who sat there for over 45 minutes waiting for our food. IF YOU ORDER ON GRUBHUB UBEREATS OR DOORDASH just know that if the restaurant messes up they will not take accountability nor offer a refund or even give u the food that THEY DID NOT give!!! They have absolutely NO customer service skills at all! The arguing was so unnecessary. We just asked if we could pick it up and the lady got all defensive and pretty much called us liars. So if you do order from them just go on whatever app u used and get ur money back for whatever they messed up. Don’t even worry about calling them. You will not get what they left out and they will not care to help u either and will just call u a lair even when u have physical proof. I told her the time the order was delivered that I opened the bag and what was in each bag yet she still didn’t believe and tried to blame everyone but themselves for the mistake! We called 2 minutes after we received the order! Yet somehow we are lairs. Will never doordash from this restaurant again useless we physically go in and pick it up ourselves. This is the worst customer service I think I’ve ever experienced. Like I mentioned earlier the food was cold. And by ice cold I mean the beans were already hardening. Cheese unmelted. Trays had no heat to them all at rice was hard and cold and so...

We have been coming to eat heat for the past 10 years. Over the years the service has got worse and worse. We have started to go eat at taco express instead but decided to give our go to another chance. Tonight took the cake. After being seated and getting our drinks and chips right away (great start) things started to go down hill from there. We didn’t see our waitress for nearly an hr. Someone else brought us our food. Our food was cold and my wife’s had a hair in it. After telling them about it and asking for a manager. I was told there was no manager there and they took our plates back to the kitchen. Our waitress is the one that brought the food back out which is the first time we saw her since she brought our drinks. My wife had stuck her fork in the original burrito and when they brought the new food out we noticed that they had just removed the hair and warmed the food back up. We was offered no kind of discounts and my drink sat empty until we were about ready to leave and the waitress finally asked if I wanted a refill which I turned down. This is the first time I have ever sent food back or wrote a bad review. I know people have off nights and I try to be understanding but this was the worst experience eating out I’ve had. This was our family's favorite restaurant until tonight. We ordered our meals and one of my kids had ordered grilled chicken nachos. We all received our meals except him and the waiter asked what did he have. Within a couple minutes they brought out his nachos. 5 min later my son hands me a piece of what is suppose to be chicken from his plate. It looked nothing like chicken. It was like a piece of rubber. Then we started inspecting his meal, the chicken was RAW! I'm not even exaggerating. I couldn't believe it. I flagged down a waitress and she took the plate off. Waited for a response, nothing. I flagged a guy down and asked who was the manager, he said that he was. I told him what happened and to go and inspect our meal for himself. He never came back. I'm fact nobody did. We had to ask someone else for out check and they had removed his meal but nothing else. No apologies, nothing. My wife had a full plate off chicken fajitas that she didn't eat because it made her sick to see his chicken. I will never go to this place again. We need to stop contributing to people who do not value our money, and these people clearly don't. And besides all of the headache, there were very few working that could speak/understand English.
