I’m 60+ and never had a such a bad experience with a pharmacy. Been in ER from the hospital across the street. Dr at the hospital sent my scripts in, told me they would be there waiting, as well as my nurse, didn’t leave the hospital till 2 hours after he called them in. When we pulled up to the 24hour pharmacy, told me 20mins on 4 scrips to fill. Kept calling me a different name, kept telling him no. Someone got behind us after about 15mins, was told to move and come back around, then waited another 20mins for those ppl to have they’re meds filled. I got meds and started back to Lawrenceburg and counted only had 3, went back to him, saying they had 2 ppl with my name, both of us born same yr, different month (I reminded him I had just left from there, how can I be a different person) he would not give me the other antibiotic. Ask him to call the hospital to verify, thought sure he was going to take the 3 back from me. He finally gave it to me and said he would call the hospital later. This took 1.5 hours at this pharmacy. I will never be back at this CVS. After I’m well I’m really thinking about finding out how to report to the state about the rude, uncaring, lazy, unprofessional pharmacist that works night shift. Come home and made sure I had the right meds in the bottles to be on the safe side, using pill identifier. Beware of...
Read moreI’ve been using this pharmacy for over 15 years, started out when it was in the old location on James Campbell. It USED to be phenomenal, the staff knew you personally always happy to help. That is no longer the case. Occasionally if you get the right staff member they will still be very friendly and helpful. But they changed their process and its aweful. It doesnt matter if you order your refills ahead of time either by calling in or ordering online, it’s NEVER ready and waiting. I’m convinced they only start working on your order the moment you arrive and ask for it. It’s always “20 minutes.” Even when a physician calls in a new script, which is supposed ready within and hour, it’s still never ready on time. And frequently a medication will not be in stock. I understand that can happen, but its happens WAY too frequently. I want to be nice to the staff who try their best, but the system is aweful. What’s the point of preordering your refill if it doesnt get touched anyway until you arrive in person? You have to wait 20-30 min MINIMUM every time you go in. It’s really terrible and they...
Read moreMy mother relies on CVS' prescription text services to keep up with her refills. So today, she got a text from this store about having five prescriptions ready for her to pick up. Well when she got there they told her she only had one ready. Mind you she had just got the text about them before she even went. My mother is older and she is not tech savy, so she does not use the app. With that being said, if you are going to have a system that is supposed to ne set up to work accurately then it should be exactly that. Acurrate! I wish CVS would understand that a lot of elderly people are just like my mom and depend on a what's supposed to be reliable service to help keep up with refills. This keeps happening and it shouldn't be. I shouldn't have to keep checking the app to make sure that the texts she receives are in fact correct!...
