American Deli — Restaurant in Columbus

I've hear people around town say that this American Deli us nothing like the one in the mall; and I've also heard them say that if you ask if they're affiliated with the mall store that they'll get mad. Well the one in the mall closed early so second best, right?!?!? No, wrong. It's nothing like it. First off, how do you have salty bread ana Philly. The meat and lil veggies I found in it were completely charred; you could taste the burnt there as well as on the the bread. Completely burned. The fries were slightly undercooked with no seasoning yay all. The wings were the only ok part of the meal. I got hot lemon pepper and i think I prefer their wings over the one in the mall. However those rookie mistakes on the sandwich alone has made the decision for me not to return here. I guess the fry cook needed sign in the window should have...

Horrible service ! I NEVER order from this one and I accidentally did today somehow on my DoorDash. I even went to the wrong location before actually realizing what location I ordered from. I ordered, drove 20 minutes and still had to wait 30 minutes inside. It’s ridiculous. The outside walkway had nothing but trash around it, it just wasn’t appealing in my opinion. My food was cold and I’m very serious about my food. I dislike mediocre. The location in the mall services way more people and they sometimes have less workers but I promise you they are amazing. The one in the mall will always have your food hot, and there’s minimal waiting. I only recommend the Columbus...

This is the first time I went and will be the last time. I ordered Philly steak and fries, and the guy that was cooking had gloves on that he did not change while cooking, touching the sink,and washing a knife. That is not the big deal. He had my Philly bread in his hand, and he put it on the countertop while washing a knife. You heard right, YES! he put it on the plain countertop with germs and water in the front by the sink. omg, I will never go back to 82 America Deli again!!
