We first discovered Borderland Cafe in 2018 when we were staying at the nearby Pancho Villa State Park, and we’ve been huge fans ever since. Honestly, this is the type of quality food and service that you would expect to find in some place like Santa Fe or Albuquerque. The enchilada fries and the cucumber limeade are a must for us. Yesterday we had their grilled chicken gyros, and they were excellent—the veggies were fresh and crisp, and the taziki sauce was some of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t let the small size and remote location fool you. This is seriously good food at a fair price, offered by a hard-working young couple who are hustling their butts off to serve the great folks in southern New Mexico....

Very clean an classy inside if you think the outside of building is clean an cool looking wait till you go inside. This is a must stop location if you're passing thru the area it's worth the stop an the food will blow you away. For my fellow trucker friends there is parking right across from there so you have no excuse to not stop an get a bite to eat there. Way better then any truck stop food an great prices.....
