Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Columbus

It's disappointing that I've watched this location decline just like the neighborhood it's in. They always have hired kids (read high schoolers) but now I think all the manager has time to do is just watch the kids and make sure they're not stealing from the drawer! Terrible service, I don't want to be mean, so I'll only give 1 example : ordered 1 hot fudge sundae and 1 banana split. 5 cars in line ahead of me, okay no big deal, I can wait. Dunno how long it took to get to me, I don't care, I understand I have to wait, that's life. Then the problems start. "What was your order?" I get halfway through telling him, and someone came over, pushed some buttons, the 2nd person tells me a total, and I pay. Then I hear guy #1 asking "where's my hot fudge sundae?" Someone else replies "I got it" then guy #1 makes and then hands me my banana split, I put it on the passenger seat of my no AC car on a 91° day, and turn back to grab my hot fudge sundae, he looks at me like I'm stupid and I say "the hot fudge sundae?' This is when the manager decided make my sundae, and 5 minutes later or so, I get my sundae half falling out of the open (single sided) container, and then quickly drive home (8 houses away on the next street) to enjoy my half melted ice cream... Hey, at least my mom's sundae was easy...

I asked for 2 large and 1 medium mint Oreo blizzards and this is what I got. I told the man at the window that the lady made them wrong. 1 of them had a clump of cookie at the top with no mint taste at all in any of them. The man gave them to the lady that butchered them and told her what I said. She just took them and added a little mint sauce and blended them to hell and brought them back to me. At this point I'm pissed because I just handed them $27.33 for this mediocre mush. She then tells me how they mix it to make mint however she must've skipped that day because it was a regular Oreo blizzard with green spots in it. At this Im so pissed where I had to bite my tongue if I tell u it's wrong then it's wrong no need to explain your end just do it right. Mint ice cream is GREEN not white with green spots here and there! I will never go back to any Dairy Queen that woman pissed me off to the max, of you don't know what you are supposed to be doing then have someone else do it that can handle it. Don't proceed to tell the customer how you did it right when you are clearly in the wrong. Now I have 3 cups of ice cream soup when it should've been done over the right way! Bad customer service lady...

I recently moved to this area. I loved to see a local Dairy Queen but I've been through the drive-thru two times and they have messed up my order both times but instead of making a big deal about the incorrect order I rolled with the punches. This last visit was incorrect again but I moved pasted it. However I can't believe that in the last visit they were aware of their mistake but when I ordered two cups of ranch they insisted on charging me a dollar for them. Now normally that's not a problem but when they acknowledge they make a mistake I can't believe they are unwilling to give 2 small containers of ranch dressing for free due to the experience I had both times that I've been there. I also think they should do a bit of cleaning on the outside of the store and make their parking area for costumers only. It's crazy to have to wait to pull out because of the groups of people with no consideration walking across the street at a very dirty looking garage of some sort. I usually try to post positive things about the places I go but so far there aren't any to post. Just my...
