I haven’t been to this place in a while post pandemic and thought I give it a try. They were friendly and took my order promptly. I decided to wait inside for my food. There was a customer who ordered before me who was outside waiting in their car before I pulled up so I had no idea what type of order they were waiting for. The previous customer enters the establishment to pick up their food and states they ordered vegetable rolls and would like to have sauce with their order. The worker informed them that everything was in the bag. The customer leaves and I’m still waiting for my food at this point. The previous customer comes back in and states their order was wrong and that the food was filled with cream cheese and not the vegetables they ordered. Another worker who was preparing my food figures that they had made a mistake and takes the vegetable rolls out my bag and hands to the customer and exchanges it with the returned meal they clearly went through to determine was filed with cream cheese. I ironically had ordered the crab rangoon and watch as the worker placed the returned food from the previous customer into my bag and proceed to call me to get my food. Good thing I paid attention to the entire situation because before leaving I opened my bag to check my food and saw that the crab rangoon had cream cheese oozing out of all five pieces. I took it back to the counter and asked the worker if that was the same order that the previous customer mentioned had cream cheese that was returned and the worker admitted that it was. The worker was trying to proceed and say it was okay and I had to let them know I was uncomfortable taking food I know for a fact was touched by a stranger. The worker then had words with another worker about making a new order for me and they argued about it a bit before finally working on the new order. The worker threw away the returned order in the trash in frustration. The fact that they were comfortable serving returned food from a different customer and getting upset that I asked for a fresh order makes me know my money and time are not appreciated and I would rather spend my money at an establishment that takes my health seriously. I believe they are more concerned on not wasting products and saving their money to make profit than doing what’s right by us customers. It was morally wrong and even more frustrating that I even had to ask for fresh food met with an attitude. After this experience I will not be able to trust them...
Read morei have been eating here since they have open and there have never been any complaints from me... until today. for the first time ever i was not happy with my food. my rice was mushy and plain (usually cooked perfect with glaze) and the chicken didn't even have the glaze on it that is normally there. i'm not familiar with they're return policy because i have never had to use it... unhappy, i call them to see if my food can be remade. while talking on the phone the young lady (whose normally not there) over talked me the whole time. she told me to come back in ten minutes and they would remake. i come back not even an hour later and they tell me that i should've brought my food from previously. i understand this policy but i was super irritated because when i had just talked to the young lady on the phone NOT ONCE did she say this and like i've said i've never returned anything. as a matter of fact she had not heard anything i had said on the phone because she still had no idea why i had come back (eye roll) at this time not only would they not fix my food they wouldn't replace my money. the owner kept telling me he could give me my missing yum yum sauce. i'm like no my food wasn't good. so i did leave to get the food i previously ordered and when i returned they owner told me that since i didn't like the food there was nothing he could do to change it this how they been making it for years. he refused to remake the food. single mom just got off work trying to feed my daughter and the owner couldn't get past his ego. he told me to try to find better else where. on top of the rude service, they are still taking food back over the counter with COVID-19 there is no special protocol in...

Some hibachi restaurants don't offer takeout - obviously they'd prefer you come in and sit, enjoy the full experience (and cover the costs of the show their chefs put on, which is always a joy to watch).
However, sometimes you don't want to sit through all of that and don't want to pay the steep price yet you still crave that food - look no further than Hibachi Express.
