I've been with Hairclub for over twenty years and THE STYLISTS ARE GREAT but both the corporate and local level management teams are going to drive this company out of business!
The company has since been sold multiple times and with that, their quality has also gone down hill fast! I've been there long enough to tell a good product from a bad one. Initially, most of my hair systems would last well over two months with quality hair that remained intact and the system itself intact. Not anymore!
I don't know what they are doing, but the hair systems do not hold their color (maybe two weeks if you are lucky), they shed terribly and the system lace (it's backbone) unfurls and further causes hair shedding and for almost $500.00 a month, you would expect FAR better!
Making matters worse is that I've seen so management turn over which is yet another indicator the company just doesn't know what they are doing or the customers they are losing! The last straw for me, is that for the past ninety days, despite my communication with their management and scheduling team, I'm always getting calls from them at the last minute claiming they need to either move my appointment by at least forty-five minutes or cancel and reschedule because either someone was double booked or another stylist called off that day, etc.
In addition, even my requests to change appointment dates when made a week in advance seem to fall on deaf ears or I'm told "Oh, I'm sorry, __ must have forgot to leave me a note about that." Well, I guess communication and attention to customer needs are also not of much importance or concern here anymore like they were years ago! Corporate is even not listening to their own employees who operates their business: THIS PLACE DESPERATELY NEEDS MORE STYLISTS TO HANDLE THEIR CLIENT BASE! ! !
The overall deterioration of this center after twenty years of being a loyal customer in addition to how corporate treats their employees and their customers has forced me to begin discussions with other businesses who will hopefully value me and treat me the way I deserve to be.
Take it from me, I (and you) deserve a far better company and service!
PS: The "response from the owner" was a joke! I tried calling them and spoke to someone named Nick Lubonovic (who I also spoke with during another matter months before) and he promised then and NOW to get back to me and never did! TWICE! On two different matters! I don't trust a word this guys says. Everyone can make a mistake . . .but twice?!?! Come on...

To get a glued on wig to cover that bad spot they wanted to charge me $ 6,900.00 a year ( this imcluded 2 haircuts a month) $6,900 is more than I pay for my Honda Civic Sport. They also require all payments up front. I am 52yrs old. If i paid this fee until i am 70 yrs old, It would cost me $ 124,200.00 OR MORE.
I was impressed but then depressed after I seen the price. Total sticker shock.

Read moreI highly recommend this Columbus business, not only for the level of professionalism, but for the genuine care of the staff and time they take with you, to make sure you aren't "just a number." It isn't too much to ask for consistency with a haircut, but believe me, it is hard to find- especially when keeping short hair; which is why I have been getting my haircut from Ashley B. for years.
