Minelli's Pizza — Restaurant in Columbus

Went in on Monday July 15 around 8:30pm. The little white girl with glasses had attitude and didn't want to answer my question so old lady stepped in to answer. I wanted to order chicken parmesan but the kitchen stopped making it well more than an hour before closing time so I went with a pizza that was supposed to take 15 minutes to make. She charges me the wrong price as I am still looking at the menu and prices but the interaction was already so bad that I said to myself whatever I'll pay it and get outta here. After waiting for like 40 minutes and the people that came WAY behind me getting their food I ask them what's going on, and they bring out my food. As I am walking out I check the bag only to find out they got my order completely wrong and it was such a slow night with only one person in the restaurant dinning in and maybe three walkins the whole time i was there. I was so disappointed with the customer service I WAS NOT going to walk back in to tell them they got my order wrong and have them take another 40 minutes to make a pizza with chicken...

The place looks like they haven't cleaned it in about 20 years, but the foods halfway decent and the people got decent attitudes. Despite how dirty it is there people still fill all the seats and it's very busy continuously night and day so they must be doing something right. The pizza is good depending on who's making it if you get there on a good night with a good employee you'll get a great pie some days not so much, the pizzas are definitely worth coming for I have had their pastas yet their salads are okay and their sandwiches are average. The pepperonis they use are really good I like their sauce as a great flavor the dough when it's right is really good they got a good flavor I'm not big on the Columbus Ohio cornmeal thing on the pizza some days it's kind of like sandpaper another days it's soft and it's doable but if that's your thing you're going to like it. Just give the place at least three tries because you can't judge it off of the one experience because you might end up with the guy that doesn't do good...

My husband and I was in town and decided to have dinner at this mom and pop restaurant. After reading the reviews we were impressed and decided to partake a dinner with them. We ordered the manicotti meal to share. Although, the meal was fulfilling and favorable it wasn't as hot in temperature as I expected after a 30-40min wait for cooking time. This led me to believe that itcwas possible frozen. Nonetheless, it tasted homemade.

The service there was magnificent. The waitress offered nothing less than great service. They all greeted us with a smiles. It was definitely a pleasure taking in a meal here.

The atmosphere wasn't really up to par. I didn't notice until check out that the kitchen need some serious deep cleaning as you could see visual signs of compacted dirt. I'll admit if I seen that prior I would had not decided to eat there at all. The bathroom was clean. The tables are close...
