Nasty's Sports Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Columbus

I had the opportunity to try their new jam burger some months ago and it was really good. The kitchen did a great job and everything came out great from the texture of the bun to the ingredients. One thing that I found to be problematic was how many shots and beers that they served the patron next to me... he said he had a long drive and was a semi driver but they just kept serving him shots and beers... I mean, the food was good and the service wasn't terrible... but hearing this guy talk about driving a semi truck hundreds of miles after having multiple shots with beers was definitely concerning. It's almost as if over serving alcohol is routine from my personal experience of having witnessed Bradley Dabid Conaway drink multiple shots and beers before driving out of the parking lot.... hopefully they don't over serve people like this until someone dies... that said, check out Nastys in Hilliard, but make sure you're careful about where you park because the mailboxes have all been run over by a drunk driver. Also, that jam burger I ate while there was really good so big ups to the kitchen. Edit- it's adorable that Frank replies to say that I was terminated when I quit while being away on a trip to PA. It's also apropos that he would say that I was asked to not come back when the actual and real owner (John Votino) told me I was welcome back at any time... never at any time did Frank or JV say I was not allowed to come back. I told John I would not come back in after they refused to pull the video footage. The footage is there and by refusing to pull the video and verify, they are complicit in the lie. But apparently, lying is the "Nasty's" way. Maybe once I told John that I wasn't coming back in, someone decided I wasn't "allowed" back in? John Votino seems like an honest person so maybe they should check with him to verify because never at any point, did anyone tell me that I was not allowed back. Acting like you told someone that they aren't allowed back after they told the actual owner that they would not return is delusional.... imagine being so dishonest that you say that you terminated an employee when they quit, and they have evidence to prove as much because it's literally in their text message history.... what an embarrassment. Not as embarrassing as over serving a semi truck driver who totals out the mailboxes and then wrecks a car on the parking lot.... at least the "owner" has taken the time to lie.... On another note, the previous kitchen employee named Christian sure did do a good job.... 👍 I'm sure...

I don't normally leave reviews unless the place I'm reviewing was so bad that i need to warn others. But this place is awesome! The food: is amazing and thier baked beans are the best ive ever had. I eat at alot of wing places and most are mediocre at best. I like sweet and hot so i got the sweet chili sauce with a side of hot "nasty" sauce. Even without dipping them in the hot sauce the flavor of thier sweet chili was damn good! It was a perfect nice glaze over the wings. The service: was awesome i wish i got her name so i could give her props! I called my order in ahead of time but i couldn't decide what exactly i wanted and how i wanted it. She was extreemly helpful over the phone with suggestions and opinions. And was very knowledgeable of anything that they had. When i walked in she immediately approached me before i even sat down at the bar. Very friendly, energetic, personable, and tentative to everyone that was a customer. My food came out (the wings and ribs combo) she immediately checked over the whole order to make sure it was correct. This was my first visit and i will be definitely coming back. Surprisingly good food! Served by friendly folks. :) I love their potato skins. Just the right size, with enough potato scooped out that it wasn't heavy. Good amount of cheese and bacon; and the green onions were a perfect touch. Might be my favorite skins in Columbus. 🙂

The fried bologna sandwich was good. Nice thick cut slice of bologna, cooked well. I had them removed the tomato so I probably should have added mustard to give it another dimension. The cheese was a nice touch.

The tater tots were nice and crispy, very satisfied. Maybe could have had a bit more salt right out of the fryer, but that's easily enough added.

Their baked beans are outstanding! A little bit of sweet with some pulled pork. Highly recommend as a side!

I already really enjoy their pulled pork sandwich. I'll get it without the bun for more pure goodness.

The only thing I've had here that I didn't much care for was the boom boom shrimp. The breading was too thick/didn't work for me. But that's just my opinion. And only one thing I don't care for speaks to how good they are!

I'm a big fan, can't wait...
