Thai To Go — Restaurant in Colville

Amazing place! It's a mom & pop style, and literally just mom & pop, so be patient! It really is a "to go" establishment with a small counter to sit at while waiting. Place is very clean! The food is excellent, from the curry to the fried rice & even the soup... I've heard no complaints ever of the food. Tip: call ahead. Because its just them running the place & the food is amazing there is usually at least an hour wait. Lunch and dinner rush might be longer. But its well worth the effort to call ahead. I'm a naturally picky person who is a hard sale when it comes to customer service and I'll voice that when appropriate. But I also will voice a job well done and thats what colville thai to go is. She cooks in the back, it's all amazing and he runs the counter. Prices are comparable to fast food so its cheaper than a sit down restaurant and portions are (for me) a two-for.... Two lunches for me. Or one to share. We order at least once a week and there is always a line... Because its one of the best places to go. Ordered the Pad Woon Sew (5* spicy) Vegetables are fresh, serving portions are great. I have had this twice, first time I felt like it wasn’t spicy at all. I brought it up and the second time they sent me with extra spices so I could add on as needed. Super happy with the accommodation, very thoughtful as I recognize spice level varies with people. Flavors were amazing, not disappointed either time. There is a long wait time because I believe it is just that one lady making it call in advance orders are the way to go to solve that. My only suggestions is that since it is a to-go place that they consider doing a compostable or more eco-friendly take...

3 years later, updating to say still a huge fan of this place. Food and service are still consistently great. Give them a try!

Food was excellent, service was friendly. They are taking pandemic precautions seriously with signage requiring masks, staff masks even in back area, and even have clean/used pen jars on counter. Seating is limited outdoors only (hey, "to-go" is in the name, don't be surprised) and you may want to call ahead for dinner as the first time we tried there was a 90 minute wait on orders but lunch service was prompt.
