Chico's Cafe — Restaurant in Combined Locks

I remember the first time my husband and I came to Chico’s not being a good experience. But my husband must’ve forgotten and he wanted to go so I thought I’d give it another try. I wanted the nachos and asked if I could sub avocado for the meat. The waitress said no and it’d be a charge and I said no that’s ok, let’s just doing it anyways and pay the extra. Well my food comes out with a heaping pile of meat under all of the other toppings… and no avocado… so I asked why there was meat and she said I had said never mind when ordering. Why would you give me meat if I’m asking to take it off and sub something? So then I asked if they could redo it and she made me feel like it was a huge deal and like we’d be charged extra so I finally just asked for a box to put all the meat in. I also had to go back up to her to ask for a spoon to take it off with. I spent the entire time picking meat off my nachos, then just put them in a to go box and didn’t eat anything. The waitress also did literally nothing to try and make it better and never come to check on us until after we were done eating. Very friendly staff from the moment we walked in. My daughter wanted hot coco with whipped cream. I must say this was the best hot coco I have ever tasted in my life. I have no clue what they used but it was amazing. She ordered the taco salad, it was beautiful. The chopped lettuce was too big for my daughters liking, this by no means does not mean it was not good just a preference of hers. I ordered the chico nachos they were amazing very flavorful and food was very hot. My daughter liked the chips from my Nachos so we ordered a basket of chips it came with hot cheese. Homemade chips and hot cheese were very good as well. Our waiter was incredible nice and willing to answer questions about upcoming daily specials and even socialized with my daughter (which is not very common at many restaurants) Way...

Came here yesterday for dinner with my family We sat in the booth for 15 minutes before a waitress came to get our drink order. When the drinks came, one of them tasted like diet Pepsi we said something to the waitress and she tried to bicker for a hot minute until we said we wanted a new one, she came back 10 minutes later to get our food order. So we ordered our food. Not only did the waitress spill my soup all over the table, but she walked away before I could get napkins to clean it up myself, after dinner we got our receipt and when we looked at it we noticed that there are two different prices on there. There is one for if you are paying cash and there is one with a 22% markup. So with that said we will no longer be coming here. It has been a nice 8 years at this restaurant but never...
