I recently had the pleasure of visiting il Bar Coffeehouse & Bistro, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish.

Owner of establishment is an entitled brat who feels that saying sorry twice for horrible service (which doesn’t mean annything) and lousy wait staff that can’t even keep track of a slip for 2 bagels. She feels that’s it’s okay to harass and demean PAYING customers for simply giving feedback. Not once did the owner state she would give a refund. She said and I quote “I will give you a store credit” a store credit of 5 dollars that does not even make up for the 7 dollar bagel that took apparently an hour to make, but had time to sit down at the counter and eat food herself but couldn’t allow paying customers to eat. Shame on the owner for ever thinking that talking to customers like that is okay and yes I did leave the lousy 5 dollar store credit because if I want a mediocre bagel and coffee I’ll go anywhere else and likely get way better service than what I witnessed today. Do better. And learn to take criticism with honor and dignity not judgement and hatefulness. Bad reviews will come your way especially if you feel this is the way to treat customers. I love this coffee house. I live in Appleton, and there's a lot of options there...but I drive out of my way to come here because the coffee is delicious. The pastries are also phenomenal. I have not had their other food yet. I really enjoy that there is such a big coffee menu with seasonal drinks, as well as a rotating coffee flight. (I loooovveee the coffee flights. That is what originally enticed me to come in). The atmosphere is cute and my boyfriend also enjoys the vibes that this place offers compared to other shops. The additional seating is nice and I am constantly coming here every Sunday I am not in indiana. I'll definitely be sharing this coffee house with others. Also, the owner and the staff is always super nice every time I've come in.

Edit: to put it in another way, my boyfriend and I planned to come here another Sunday not realizing they weren't open, and when we got there we went "now what?! Our day is ruined!" (Jokingly) We knew there were like 6 other coffee shop options but we REALLY wanted that...
