Southern Drawl Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Comer

The first time we went to Southern Drawl the service was absolutely terrible, long wait to order, drinks didn't come out, main course food was not hot, (spinach dip was good) but we excused it because they are new and still ironing out the kinks. Tried it again a couple of months later, and we wouldn't have thought it possible, but the service was even worse. We were told there would be a 25 minute wait for a table outside, but that we could sit at the bar while we waited for a table. One of us ordered a "Margarita bucket" which turned out to be a plastic quart container like you'd get takeout soup in stuffed with ice to the brim and some margarita. Bartender told us they have no salt to rim glasses for the person who wanted a small margarita. What?? Menu shows a $3 upcharge for a black bean burger over a regular burger. What?? An hour after we got there and were still waiting for a table, we went and looked and there were 5 empty tables outside. We had been forgotten and hostess/wait staff seemed to be totally oblivious. We were hangry by that point so we left to go somewhere where we could actually get some food. Twice we've had a bad experience at Southern Drawl so we won't be back. I wish them luck....

The perfect addition to our small town! The food was great! Good selection of alcohol and good sized menu with many different options. Our server, Brooklyn, was very sweet and did a great job! The food took about 45 minutes, which was a bit long but our server made sure to let us know so it wasn’t a problem. They are doing great for it being new, and I’m sure will improve the speed of service as time goes on! We will be back to try the rest of...
