We just moved back to the area and was so excited to be in their delivery area because they do have amazing food. First week we were in our new house we were painting and probably ordered from there at least 4 times in 5 days. All orders were placed through the online order feature. Food was slow to be delivered (we're only 5 mins away) but it was good. Last delivery took over 2 hours but again, food was hot and good. Several weeks later we ordered again, and again the food took over 2 hours. This time I called, the man seemed apologetic and assured me the food would be there. Sure enough the driver showed up not even 2 mins later. He was rude, not apologetic, took my money, THEN handed me the food and left before I could say anything. Right away I knew something was wrong because the pizza box was actually cold, rib tips were luke warm and the side bag looked like someone had drop kicked it across the lawn. I had to actually put the pizza back in the oven to reheat it. That was ridiculous, so I called back. The man wasn't as apologetic and said he would note that we would get 25% off next time. Well the truth was I had no intention to order again. Fast forward to just this last week and I really wanted to have pizza again. Against my better judgement I chose to go online and order from there again, but I figured I would pick it up as surely the problem was with the delivery. So I placed my order online, went grocery shopping and in 30 mins or so I headed over there thinking I may still have a few mins to wait. I walked in, both delivery cars were in the parking lot and three people were just standing around not including the cashier. So I walked up, and showed her my online confirmation. She asked me my name, which i thought was was weird, because I had the order number, but I told her my name and she looked confused. So she walked away and spoke with someone in the back and they walked to the printer and pulled out 2 sheets of paper. The guy went to the back and she told me it would be just a minute. I asked her, "are you guys JUST starting to make the order? " she seemed confused and asked me "what?" So I repeated, "is that my order? Are you guys JUST now starting to make the order? " she said yes as she was trying to cash me out so I told her I didn't want it as it had already been almost 45 mins since I placed the order. She said, "You don't want it?"with a completely indignant tone and I said no and walked out. The guy in the back watched me walk out without even trying to stop me. Now remember there was SUPPOSED to be a note on my account about all the problems I had before, and yet they let me walk out. Well, that's fine, they obviously don't need my business. Just so you know, Mr. Happy, if you are reading this, every one of my orders were over $50, except for the last one was only $45. I'm glad business is so great that the loss of a regular customer doesn't matter. By the way, if you don't want to fill online orders,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming to this place since it opened and personally always had good experiences, but it helps maybe that I almost always walk in and order instead of call just I feel a better meal experience. This time was no exception. Ordered my friend the stuffed steak n mushroom cheese bread and I tried the new savvy sliders, which I picked the famous fried chicken slider western style and the ribeye steakhouse style. Also BBQ seasoned the fries. If I could give extra stars for above and beyond expectation I would. Amazing sliders..... The crispy chicken was deliciously seasoned a thick and juicy on the inside. The western toppings gave it a sweet and savory flair with BBQ,American, bacon and crispy coated onions. Delicious. The ribeye, oh the ribeye, reminds me of a delicious mid mi sub chain that their signature meat is close to the same just savvy makes thiers in slider form. Tender ribeye complimented the toasted bun and the steakhouse style added crispy coated onions, provolone, sauteed mushrooms and A1. You have the option to build your own style and create a tasty custom slider as well. BBQ fries were OK, but man the best sliders worth every penny. I tried a piece of the steak n mushroom stuffed cheese bread too. It was pretty tasty, a little more garlic butter on top and I probably would have went on about that one too. Overall savvy sliders is an excellent addition to Happy's commerce. Thanks for letting me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to love the quality of the food from this location, but it has gone WAY downhill the past few months. I have always ordered the rib tips and they've been fantastic, but the last two times I've ordered them, they've been almost inedible. The first time, they just didn't have any BBQ sauce on them (which makes me laugh because they are BBQ rib tips, after all). This time, they were tough as leather. And the pieces that weren't tough, were nothing but fat. I also order the 1 lb of garlic parmesan potato wedges, which have been amazing in the past, but again, the last two times I've ordered, they have been plain potato wedges that you could get from anywhere, and nowhere even close to 1 lb. My pizza and bread orders have been barely cooked at all, which does leave them inedible. I like my pizza and break to be well done, but will accept the normal cooked way if I cannot get well done. These were not even cooked to normal doneness. The first time that the food quality was unsatisfactory, I called and spoke to the manager and he was fantastic and offered me a free pizza, which normally I would gladly take, but I will no longer be ordering food from this location. I am extremely disappointed because I do love Happy's food, but two bad experiences in a row is more than I care...
