Burrito Rapido — Restaurant in Commerce City

I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid and honestly I’ve never had a problem until a couple months ago. The food has went up in price drastically, and the quality of the food isn’t the same. I recovered my smothered burrito today and all the meat in the inside was burnt. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Not sure what happened to the quality of the food at this place, but I would definitely go out and eat something other than this place. Another problem to mention is the restaurant it’s self. It’s not the best looking restaurant and it’s not a comfortable place to eat at. For having a 4.3 star rating, I would assume that this place would be clean inside. And sadly it’s not clean at all.Their are tons of places in commerce city that have similar food to burrito rápido. Only difference is that other places won’t hand you a burrito with crunchy burnt meat. Avoid this place...

I had 4 carnitas tacos and a side of rice and beans to go. I can’t believe I only just came here after being so close for years!!! Best beans and rice I’ve ever had (for real..I had to take a picture before they were devoured within 5 minutes of getting home just to document). Carnitas was great (to be fair it’s hard to find bad carnitas but I’m skeptical about getting asada since it’s hit or miss but definitely my favorite)… I’m a big lover of lime with my tacos and they gave actually decent slices (thank you!!). Red and green salsa came with the tacos. Both were delicious. Red is American hot, green is really mild but great flavor. I’ll be back within a week or two for the asada which I have no doubt will be as good as everything was today! Will update my review...

Searched and found this place 2 km down the road from the truckstop I was stuck at. Very basic little hole in the wall, nothing fancy, but great food. I actually got an education about some of the dishes by one of the cooks. Got to try different sauces etc.. Good meal and excellent price. Not huge plate but enough to satisfy.

For example they specialize in Burritos obviously and they don't give out chips and salsa etc. This is a legit authentic low buck Mexican burrito restaurant.
