We recently visited Las Dos Americas, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The food quality was underwhelming. I decided to try the gorditas plate, but the chicharrones seemed to be a bit watery, and the gorditas were cooked too thin, causing my gorditas to fall apart and making them difficult to enjoy. The burrito I tried also seemed to lack flavor and didn’t leave much of an impression. The atmosphere was okay. Overall, we left feeling disappointed by both the food and service and were hoping for a better experience. I will say though, we've come here plenty of times for their pan dulce selection, and the pan dulce is great. In taste and quality.

I am severely disappointed with my experience today. It looked promising despite some of the reviews I read, so I decided to give them a try anyway. Service was okay and the lady that rung me out at the register was friendly and courteous. My only issue with her is that she packed my bread wrong and squished everything!!! The tamales are a scam!! DO NOT GET THEM!!! $12 for 6 tamales that are tiny and barely have any filling. They also need to work on their wrapping technique because what the heck is that.

Do you remember that 80's Commercial? Where's the beef!? I'm only talking about their tamales. But every time I buy a dozen, it's always the same! All dough & NO meat. The Strawberry Pastries fell apart every time you lifted one. This has never happened before. I hope it's not a sign of a declining business. This happens when restaurants expand and start cutting corners. I hope this doesn't mean I need to get my authentic Mexican food somewhere else. Everything else is still AWESOME!!! So far.

"Authentic Mexican" ...Like REAL HOME MADE!! DONT EXPECT TACO BELL OR A MCDONALDS BREAKFAST BURRITO... THATS SOMETHING THAT APPEARS TO RESEMBLE A TACO...

...THATS FRIED AND HAS OIL FROM THE BEEF THAT ISNT "REAL" BEEF. ITS *PART BEEF.

PART BEEF, THE TACO BELL SYNDROME: NUTRITION MENU (WHICH IS HIDDEN AND NEVER SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO BE FOUND WHENEVER I ASK TO SEE IT) AND YOU PROBABLY WOULD (BEING "realistic" less taco bell after those late nights out...their beef CONTAINS A TRACE AMOUNT OF cow and its all the cow parts thrown in a giant blender and pink cream textured blended cow and other various animals... try and find a nutrition menu with the *ingredients!!! its fat cooked in fat on a grease and fat covered broiler which. Traps as much fat as possible vs cooking with and in anything but pure fat....

My point is... if you DONT KNOW WHAT REAL AYTHENTIC MEXICAN CUISINE IS, THEN GO HERE AND DONT EXPECT YOUR ORDER TO LOOK LIKE A SEAT DOWN MEAL AT EL POLLO LOCO EITHER. ITS MUCH HEALTHIER THAN THE SUPER UNHEALTHY AMERICAN SPIN WE PUT ON IT... EVEN DEL TACO, NOT CLOSE TO AUTHENTIC CUISINE.
