Hong Kong Chinese Food — Restaurant in Commerce

This place used to be really good till their Dad stopped being the cook. Once in a blue moon he'll come in and cook and when he does then the food fantastic. This is a mom and pop owned joint. So most of the time the Orange Chicken is Hard or clump & hard. The fried rice is most of the time too dry. The chow mein is most time too oily and they use a lot of i think is cabbage as filler. Their mini combo used to be a good deal but they went up on it & its actually cheaper just to order a small white rice and get one side & be more filling that way on the cheap.

They do give good portions but to be fair they are the only Chinese food joint in the City of Commerce thats good in comparison excluding Yoshi next door. The reason i give two stars because i used to be a loyal customer. I used to go in easy 5+ times a month when their dad was running the place. After he quit, they show no respect to loyal customers. I say this because now if they mess up on a order, they won't redo it. For example they like to stick onion & broccoli with the white rice and when i opened the box to get some, thats when i noticed it. I asked them to give me a new box with just white rice and they refused. So after 10+ years of going there. I quit. Was already bad enough their food quality has gone way down and now not even telling customers when they change something makes it not worth...

We grew up loving this place all my life and my mom recently went there because she loves the chicken noodle soup; she didn’t like it this time because the chicken was too tough & dry so she went back to request a refund. The owner came out & told her that no one has ever complained about their soup before & told her to never come back & she’s now banned. Terrible customer service, very rude & unprofessional! they should of apologized & gave her the refund without the fuss. They don’t care about their customers, the food is mid now anyway bc they changed their meat & the food isn’t good anymore. It’s been 2 weeks & she hasn’t gotten her refund, we will never be...

could not find the letter grade on this restaurant. Plenty of parking. Order orange chicken beef broccoli and chow mein. $7.48. Very friendly employee. Got there at 8:30pm so there's not a lot of food choices I had here. I think I got leftovers. Unfortunately I could not finish eating this it was just disgusting for me. Chow mein was just plain nothing stands out. beef broccoli it just not set well with me. Orange chicken was a big disappointment. There's some hard crunchy ones and soft ones and the flavor was just not there. Mybe I came in late hours but I will not come here or recommend anyone...
