Matt's Fish Market — Restaurant in Compton

Matt's fish market has been around for ages . There fish to me is mid average . Prices are ok and the location is not the best and parking in the rear very small maybe three cars. Use to be heavy foot traffic not anymore always empty .I miss the days when you can go in these fish markets and you see some brothers cooking lol nine time out of ten you know it's gonna be fire and the sides are gonna be cool because Betty done put her foot in it lo l no shade...

Overall the fish was kind of small compared to what I'm normally getting from my normal fish market and a little lacking in flavor but honestly you can't beat their prices quality overall isn't bad it will always be my go-to fish market when I'm too lazy to go to Broadway and Imperial.

Food is fresh!! They follow your requests. I like to order my fillet of sole fried medium, they gave it to me like I ordered it! If you ordered enough fish they give you a small bottle of hot sauce. They do not accept EBT benefits. Cash or debit only.

**Update: They will charge you extra to fry your fish if you choose to order your fish by the pound. Sounds unfair 😕 Just because you don't order a meal, they make...
