Brookside Pizza III — Restaurant in Concord

I ordered takeout, a 10" pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I opened the box and found 1 slice with mushrooms on it and the rest pepperoni. I called them and the girl who answered the phone was so sweet and apologetic and offered to make another one to send to me. Then the manager got on the phone and said "you know the mushrooms are underneath the cheese, right?" So I touched every slice of pizza lifting up the cheese (which my guest really appreciated btw) looking for mushrooms only to find a few minuscule pieces. When I pay $1.85 for a "topping", I expect to find actual bite sizes of that item on the "top" of my pizza. The manager then went on to say they could make me another one, but it would come out the same way. I've worked in the customer service industry most of my life and would never tell someone I will gladly send you another disappointment of a product if that's what you would like. I've never ordered from here before, this was my guest's suggestion. Obviously I won't order...

I have only ordered delivery from here which has always been great but the 5 stars are for their food which is excellent. Their roast beef sub is the best I've had with tender moist roast beef they cook themselves. But most offen I get their pizza. The crust is flavorful and is good even when the pie fillings are gone. They have standard topping options but some unusual choices as well that have become my favorites. MaMa Mia is hamburg and ricotta...MMM. And Billy Wong is an amazing flavor and comfort food blast with a garlic butter sauce, tomatoes and cheese. An unusual pizza is their spaghetti pizza with, yes, fresh spaghetti and feta cheese which is awesome to power your run but also satisfy a number of cravings. We arrived at1230 lunch Thursday.......Place was empty we were told go ahead and order we did ...paid then we're told it's gonna be 30 minutes to get 2 submarine sandwiches counter person when asked said she's been told to tell you the wait time after you pay.if asked...

And we waited the full 25 minutes and I probably saw 10 deliveries going out with delivery drivers and many many people probably, 20 come in and pick up orders that have been called in ahead Of time and I could see the kitchen area was extremely and I mean extremely busy and the product delivered was very good it's very good and I could tell they made the little extra effort to give us a little extra more.

I am a hard grader and I moved them up from a 3 to a 4 and I would go...
