The other day one of the managers the works at Dunkin Donuts on Fisherville rd in concord was every rude. I was picking up my husband as he was off at 10am and it was almost 11am. I was getting annoyed because we have plans to get things done that we have been putting off. The manager I know doesn't not like me and knew I was upset. She Knows my husband and I have disabilities, have SSI, and can only work 20 hours. When my husband applied for the job and had the interview I was there... so I heard everything. He told her about the 20 hours and why. First 2 weeks she starts at him at 42 hours. A week or so ago she LIED and told me she had no idea about the 20 hours saying he never told her and that he needs to speak up more... than as soon as he gets back from another store back to the Fisherville store to clock out she tells him that she knows about the 20 hours saying something totally different than what she told me 2 minutes before he got there. I know he has been telling her about 20 hours and the GM. He has been telling them everyday and nothing. I heard him and saw the texts to them. They claim to protect their employees but don't. They don't give them a 15 minute break or a 30 minute break every 5 hours that is required by the state. They won't even let him leave the property on his 15 minute break to run next door where he lives to get something to eat... thats if they even give him one. I heard her say he can't leave the property if they were to get slammed (busy) and if that happens he is going to need to get back to work. First of all if he is on break and has every right to leave and go next door to his apartment as long as he is back in time. If you get slammed than he will jump right back to work when his 15 minutes is up. No employee should lose their break because they can't handle their work. It's only 15 minutes they get to sit down and eat something and too rest. I don't like that my husband comes home exhausted and hungry but is to tired to the point to eat and take care of himself. Before I was banned I would bring him food like real food thats good for him. They wouldn't even let him sit down to eat it. By law all employees have to get at least a 15 minute break and every 5 hours 30 minutes meal break. She got mad and put a no trespassing order on me and insulting me about me for not having a job and how my husband does knowing we both have disabilities. Discrimination Against Disabled persons in other words Disability Discrimination. I have worked 20 hours and 20 hours is hard for me... I can do it but its hard. My disability might be more than my husband's. Everyone is different disabled or not. I should NEVER EVER be insulted for being born this way. I can't help it and I can't fix it. I already spoke with a Concord Police Officer and he 100% agreed with me I should not be insulted for how I am and something I can't help. I have already spoke with a police officer and I will be filing on Jessica the hiring manager. This is NOT OKAY!!!!!! Its very disrespectful and unprofessional. Now I understand why people don't want to work for Dunkins the one on Fisherville rd does not respect their employees and care for their well being. Your lucky my husband hasn't gotten too exhausted and pass out. He has a Brain injury and you know you are over working him and don't care. Concord PD was called and gave me the number for Disability Rights Center. I have a meeting with them on Friday. I don't deal with bullies. You are a manager... you should know better and be professional. You had customers looking at you which you should know you the manager for that store and have special expectations to keep. Read moreMorning staff are horrible, coffee has been mad terrible 4 days in a row, and 3 of the 4 days gave me the wrong sandwich, and asked for less ice each time so there would be more coffee, and each time gave me a cup on3/4 filled and each time I asked where the rest of the coffeee is they say it’s the correct amount and the is supposed to be ice so we can’t give you extra, and I explained the reason for getting less ice to so I get more coffee, and was even willing for overpay extra all though I shouldn’t have to a legit mouth full worth of coffee , and over all the girls that work the register have horrible attitude especially the younger one that works the morning shift, , and sucks because it’s rite next to my house so now I have to detour to a different dunks every morning because of terrible service, and I thought maybe it was them just having a bad day but this was a daily thing with this location, advice for the owner find better and happier employees, I understand it’s not the best job but they applied for it and new what the job was if they don’t like it find a new job...
Read moreI went through drive through and asked for a double shot of expresso I got a single and when I said I asked for a double shot not a single shot a girl went and said ok she can fix it. Nikki came back to the window and said this is a double shot of expresso and when I said that isn’t a double shot plz fix it she gave me severe attitude and was extremely rude to my wife and said I don’t know who has been giving you that but they are wrong and she said that she wasn’t going to fix it and tried to hand it back to me. At that point I just asked for my money back and left. What ever happened to the customers are always right? I have been going to that store for years and have always got the same either a double or triple shot and have always got the same thing for my wife.
