This lounge is absolutely beautiful with a great vibe. I had high expectations and was excited to enjoy my night here with my husband and a few other family members. We had a party of 5 people. This was mine and my husbandās first time coming to this lounge. Keep in mind that this occurred a couple weeks ago and I needed time to reflect on our experience there. Also, I only leave reviews like this when I feel it is necessary and my experience was exceptionally bad.
Once we were seated, it took quite some time for a waitress to come by. She was very energetic and bubbly and I thought we would receive great service.
She then took the order of only 1 person at our table and never wrote anything down. I thought this was very strange but figured sheād come right back and take everyoneās orders. We had to try and flag her down multiple times to get everyoneās orders taken because she would literally run away after each order.
Finally, I was able to order. After waiting awhile I receive my food and drink and immediately realize itās completely wrong. After waiting a while to get her attention I was able let her know. She immediately had an attitude with me and tried to tell me that my drink was correct and told me what I ordered. The drink wasnāt even the correct color for what I had ordered. I told her that I can taste that it was not at all what I ordered nor was my food. Even my husband was surprised by how off my order was.
It was taking so long to get my correct order or for anyone else to order that I had to speak with Tony (who is a manager/owner and lovely) I explained the situation and I assume he spoke with her because shortly after, she came back with my correct order.
She then proceeded to keep running away anytime we tried to order and completely forgot to put in an order for another person in our party. I was fed up and annoyed at this point and just wanted to leave.
When our waitress came back to ācheck on usā, she refilled everyoneās water glass except for mine and I think she knew I spoke with management about her lack of service. I chose to not say anything further at this point so that our āserviceā wouldnāt be worse than it already was.
When it came time for the check, she never asked how we wanted to split it and gave my husband and I separate checks (even though it was obvious that we were together). It took so long to receive the check that we didnāt bother to have her create another bill so we paid separately so we could leave.
On another note, the food portions are incredibly small and egregiously overpriced. The drinks were also very underwhelming and poorly made. At $16 per drink, I would expect better quality. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back here or...

He sways someone would be with us to get a table. While waiting for someone to acknowledge us (it took about 5 minutes of the two servers walking past us multiple times with no greeting) for the Manager or owner to say āone secā. There were two tables by the entrance that were dirty with plates and cups and all three kept walking past them. Another few minutes of us standing there goes by before the manager/owner comes up to us and ask āWhat you tryna do?ā Sir excuse?! What happened to hello, welcome, is this your first time here? We tell him we want a table and another 3 minutes goes by before he motions for us to follow him. We are seated, next to one another table that hasnāt been cleared and one with two females (the way it is set up we were sharing a couch with them). Keep in mind there were two servers. We observe one server handle the two females we are sitting next to, the table in the other side of them, as well as the table in the back on our side (so one would assume she will be our server as well, right? WRONG!) She continues checking on the three tables on our side, continuously walking past us, getting water, getting drinks, pouring shots. The second server ends up seating a couple in the middle section, again thatās two servers that see us and neither one have acknowledged us. 20 minutes go by and we still have nothing. The first server comes up to us and says has anyone checked on you all (like be forreal, itās two of you and you both act like we arenāt here)! We tell her no, and she shakes her head and walks off, not a one second, not a let me get you water, no let me get your server, just walks off. The couple that was seated in the middle after we arrived asks her if they can move and she tells them yes, let me clear the table off (the table that was next to us with dirty cups) STILL NOT SERVICING US!! 30 minutes of a wasted night and drive out there. And no it wasnāt crowded or super busy. And yes, those two dirty tables by the entrance were still dirty with food and drinks the entire 30 minutes we were there. I wouldnāt waste my gas to ever travel that far again. And of course we leave and end up smelling like the restaurant (fried food smell) in our clothes from just sitting there for 30 minutes. DO NOT COME HERE HORRIBLE SERVICE. We came with no reservations and asked to sit at the bar, the hostess kept pressing if we had reservations of which we confirmed we did not and didnāt mind sitting at the bar is that was possible. We presented our IDās and stepped aside to let the guest behind us get checked in and thatās when things went left. That ās when the Hostess got an attitude and went to get the manager named Tony and she immediately was like āNo, No, Noā they cannot come in here referring to us just because we stepped aside to let the people behind us get checked in as we attempted to go to the car to retrieve ID. He of course sided with the hostess. The issue was not a reservation at first the Hostess did not like the way we were trying to manage the situation so she felt like she had to exert her power to some capacity. It was unfortunate because from the previous reviews I was initially really excited about coming to this establishment, I wanted to support black business but this business left a nasty taste in my mouth. Again, Iām from Harlem, NY Iāve been to some of the best places in America nor am I easily impressed by things but if Iām in a different state I enjoy supporting black. They do not know who I could have been I could have been a food critic coming to preview the ambiance of the establishment and experienced refusal of entry that would have been a review that could make or break your restaurant. Be mindful that as a business you need support and money being spent. You just donāt know who people know but Im leaving this review and will be informing some other folks that I know not to support this business. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. DO NOT SUPORT THIS LOW GRADE LEVEL ESTABLISHMENT IN NC.
