I’ll tell you about my ONE AND ONLY experience to this place. I say that because I won’t be back!was picking up a load at the Walmart across the street as I do regularly and came over for dinner and drinks and stuff. I came here because the restaurant next door where I usually get our food when I come, was closed. I ordered 2 asada taco plates. I wish I could say that there was a language barrier and that was the stem of the issue today, but both the young lady I dealt with and the man I dealt with after both sounded pretty fluent in English. Any how, One plate I ordered as it comes. The other plate I SPECIFICALLY said just meat, Lettuce, tomato and cheese as he won’t eat onions or cilantro. She let me know that all they had was mozzarella cheese. I said then nevermind the cheese because I have mozzarella on the truck. Then I asked if it was possible to get a side of rice and beans. I was told no. Ok… NP I asked if they took tap pay. She said yes. We processed my order. She asked if I wanted a receipt. I said that wasn’t necessary and I went over to the C store to get the rest of what I came for while they made my order. I come back over and the man tells me that my payment didn’t go through. Strange since I literally just purchased stuff 15’ away the same exact way with the same exact card while I waited… We processed it again. He tells me it didn’t go through again. I said, ok let’s use this card (still tap pay), if this doesn’t work there’s clearly an issue… he claims that they’ve been running cards all day and there hasn’t been an issue. That card also doesn’t go through. I then pay cash. As he’s dealing with my cash he then proceeds to lmk that the tap pay hasn’t been working…. WAIT WHAT?!! Like when I asked if yall took tap pay, why wouldn’t you freaking tell me it’s having issues?? This is where I also find out that they charge $1 something for using cards. Not that that’s a big issue, but it would have been nice to know and just adds to the rest of this o so wonderful experience today (I hope you can truly sense the absolute sarcasm there)… Get back to the truck and chow down my food real quick so I can finish my work only to find the food really wasn’t that great for me. The asada was tough, wicked dry and had enough salt it could kill a horse. So the meat was chopped really fine (also not an issue) so I can’t understand why there was a pice of gristle about as big as the lime chunk? Lack of care, That’s why. My two limes were dry and old. Barely got any juice out for my tacos. Even with all of this, I still would have given them at least one more shot because who knows, maybe I caught them on a bad day.

So now the icing on the freaking cake and why I’ll never spend another dime here again… My dad’s plate… I get down the road only for my dad to open his plate that has meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, CILANTRO & ONIONS all in them. Then he’s feeling bad apologizing to me like it’s his fault for $ wasted on something he can’t even eat. Like WTF. I can’t just flip this Rig around and come back. This isn’t a truck stop. I was at a customer. I can’t just come and go...

Worst customer service experience. Ordered my tacos without onions, and they didn’t said they’re Campechana was premixed with onions. I went back, and ask them if they could remake them for me or get something else instead. He asked me if I was gonna pay for them to have them remade. Literally took me off guard how are you gonna ask a customer to pay for something they didn’t made right the first time. no type of customer service. He literally told me what am I gonna do with them? Well what am I gonna do with them? Am I just supposed to eat them? He was fighting me back, and did not wanted to remake them, unless I paid for their mistake. Save your money or...

HOW HAVE I NOT REVIEWED THIS I've been coming for years. They've catered my wife's birthday. They got us through COVID. The food here is better than the tacos I've had in any Californian spot and ranks up with the highest of Texas tacos, and we are lucky enough to have them in our town? Go here. This is for takeout!! Grab and go! It's not about the gas station you have to walk into. It's about the kitchen this family has carved out in the back corner to make amazing take home food. THANK YOU GUYS!! You...

I couldn’t wait to take a bite before I got the photo! I was so pleasantly surprised that there were authentic FRESH tacos within a gas station. Everyone was very nice, especially the lady who rang up my tacos. The others were even chopping fresh cilantro when I walked up. Their simple menu makes service QUICK. I highly recommend this place. It’ll hit the spot for those tacos you’ve been craving.

It took me a minute to find it as I didn’t know it is inside the gas station. This place is my new favorite authentic fast Mexican restaurant. A true hidden gem and an excellent bang for your buck. The staff are super friendly and the service is fast. Needless to say, after eating here for the first time today, I will become their regular customer.
