If I could give this place (0) stars I would. My boyfriend and I have visited this place a few times but lately they seem to be going downhill. We decided this morning that we would give them another shot and they failed in so many ways. The customer service was horrible. The host was a young female who looked extremely tired and didn't want to be bothered. We were seated and our waitress proceeded in our direction. Our waitress (Ora) was the ABSOLUTE WORST waitress I have witnessed. Ora seemed to be in its own world and had no clue to what was going on. We gave our order and it was repeated back to us. It was missing so many items when it arrived and there was no sense of urgency to fix the errors. I had hot tea and he had hot chocolate. We watched Ora fix the beverages but because Ora was more interested in what the colleagues were sharing on their mobile devices, we witnessed Ora stirring the hot chocolate with a spoon and when finished, Ora tasted the hot chocolate on the spoon and then brought it to us. We asked for oatmeal but Ora never asked us the kind that we wanted. Once our food arrived and placed on the table, we immediately informed Ora of the missing items.Ora never brought the items. We asked the host and another waitress and still no missing items. We watched both individuals inform Ora as well but Ora never brought them. By this time Ora has established an attitude and has left us unattended. We never received the items missing and when asked to speak with management, (Alex) was of no assistance at all. He didn't find any issue with any of Ora's action an initially informed the host that because he was working on the line, he didn't have time to come out and speak with us and instructed us to call later today. We were only giving ($1) refund for the tomatoes. We strongly believe we were treated this way because we were African American and the majority of the others were not African American. The staff consist of a lot of young females, some maybe college or last year of high school besides this one female (whom we've had as a waitress before) but she seems the oldest and with very poor customer service before. I would not recommend the Sweet Spot to my worst enemy. Save your money and go bless another establishment that would appreciate your business but treated with respect, not judging or mistreating their customers by the color...
Read moreThe place is empty . 12 pm. In an empty establishment I waited 30 mins for a cold over cooked crepe and hard turkey bacon.
The staff played like children inside the coffee area showing their phones loud attempts at whispers and as the âcooksâ ate in the kitchen.
I was in the dinning room with a family of 4 who were already seated before me and they didnât receive their food until after I had ordered / about 15 mins after. Over hearing the kitchen - it was a remake . And there was confusion in that .
The wait staff seemed concerned with cleaning duties ; apparently the customers were interfering with the 1pm closing. Giggling and laughing louder than the country music blasting over the tvs, At least the side work will be done . That was absolute priority. As a previous server , I guess A+ for prep work, However âŚ. You DO have customers.
Three young men In the kitchen played and ate the whole time . Between the three of them the food came out at a snail pace and wasnât correct for any table it seemed. The giggled as the food came back to the kitchen. Although their faces were busy chewing and bellyâs full. I didnât even eat. I was instructed by my server she had to make me pay for my uneaten cold food or sheâd get in trouble. Whatâs a lady to do? Pay the $20 tab and starve so the establishment makes money off cold food, poor service and at least clean floors. It seemed like a high school meet up on a Saturday afternoon. No supervision , unless the principal was sitting in on the fun wanting to be the âcool adultâ letting it all happen. I...
Read morePlease read this before you eat here... I ordered the sausage, eggs and bacon. First, they brought all three on separate small plates, lol, silly young folks. My "pork" sausage that I bit into was raw in the middle. I told the young girl, and she took it away and I told her I am not going to eat the meal either. She didnât say anything and she did not respond back. When we got the check, I told her my meal was still on it and she told me I still had to pay for it even though they served me raw pork sausage and I didnât eat the meal. I asked her for the person in charge, and she sent me to another 20-something young girl. I explained the story to her and she told me they still make people pay for their meal (though to self "so you are charging people for food they are not eating and food thatâs inedible"). Well, since you don't want to listen to me, letâs see what the BBB, the County Health Department, and possibly my attorney have to say about this. So sad, since the pandemic customer service has gone out the window and now basic food is overpriced and they expect large tips and now businesses are making up weird service charges and fees. But to show good faith and to show her how you should treat people, I still paid for the meal, and I left a good tip like a gentleman. Unfortunately young lady and The Sweet Spot Management, now you will have bigger problems than me...I did try...
